Happiness had knocked on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s door again when they had become parents for the second time. Neha had delivered a baby boy on October 3, 2021. Just like their daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi, Neha and Angad are keeping their newborn away from the limelight. The star couple had not shared a glimpse of their son, and even while they were taking him home from the hospital, Neha ensured to hide his face from the media. However, now, Angad shared the first glimpse of their baby boy.
Becoming a mother is a blessing. However, it also comes with the dreading task of delivering the baby. On October 7, 2021, Angad Bedi had shared a heartmelting video of how women are so strong to deliver a baby despite the labour pain. In the video, Neha was seen dressed in the hospital uniform, as she was all set to enter the operation theatre to deliver their second baby. From feeling the contractions to hugging her husband, Angad, out of fear and nervousness before entering the OT, one could easily relate with Neha’s emotions. He had captioned the video as “Nervousness before going in the #ot @nehadhupia you brave girl.”

A few minutes back, Angad Bedi shared the first glimpse of their newborn son on his IG handle. Angad shared a Reel, where he can be seen sitting with Neha, who kissed her on the forehead. Later, Angad shared a glimpse of their little one’s tiny feet as he can be heard saying, “Nikke Nikke je paer” in the priceless clip. He captioned it as “Nikke nikke je paer idde @nehadhupia.”
On October 7, 2021, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi and Mehr Dhupia Bedi were spotted by the paps, leaving the hospital as they were taking their new family member home. While Neha was carrying her newborn in her arms, Angad was seen holding Mehr in his arms. The baby boy was wrapped in a green cloth and Neha had ensured to cover his face with her hands so that no one catches a glimpse of him.
Soon, netizens started commenting, bringing her ‘it’s her choice’ remark, and the comments section was flooded with it. Some were insensitive enough to bring out her post-delivery weight and pass nasty comments on it. While one user commented, “Her stomach still looks the same, ”another one wrote, “Aik baby shayad abhi ander reh gaya hai....”

In a conversation with ETimes, Angad Bedi talked about planning a second baby as they never wanted Mehr to be alone. He said, “No one wants to be alone. Our parents have always loved us more than we can ever love them. Our siblings are the ones who we confide in and we go to when we need that one person to lean on. Neha and I didn’t ever want Mehr to be alone. We wanted her to grow up with a sibling, learn to share and care, and also develop a bond that’s special and beyond everything else.”
Angad Bedi further mentioned that when kids play together, they learn the things that parents cannot teach them or forget to teach them. He added, “We always wanted our child to have a sibling and it has happened at the right time in all our lives. Both my parents were working, and they would both give us a lot of time and attention in their own ways. My mom made a lot of sacrifices, quietly. Neha, just like my mother, is a working professional and a hands-on mom. The atmosphere at my home was great then, and thanks to Neha and my kids, it’s great even today. Hats off to the women who keep our homes and us together. I am fortunate to have a wife like Neha.”
