However, in the middle of all this, a picture shared by popular actress and model, Shibani Dandekar with her beau, Farhan Akhtar is getting all the limelight and attention. On March 17, 2020, Shibani Dandekar took to her Instagram handle and posted a romantic cosy picture with her boyfriend, Farhan Akhtar. Along with the picture, Shibani wrote a few lines and hilariously informed everyone that her beau, Farhan Akhtar didn’t get the social distancing memo. Both Farhan and Shibani’s respective Instagram handles are filled with their cute and mushy pictures. Well, seeing them together, there’s no argument to the fact that they’re quite serious about their relationship and are looking forward to get married pretty soon. Last year, a source close to the couple had revealed in an interview with the DNA that both Shibani and Farhan are planning to get married. The source had stated, “They are extremely serious about each other and Farhan’s kids have also warmed up to Shibani, so this looks like the most obvious step for the two.”
In an interview with the Mid-Day, Shibani had revealed her thoughts about her open-relationship with Farhan and the judgments she receives from people. The actress was quoted as saying, “We are public figures, so people are entitled to say what they want to. But I don't care about their opinion. I'm aware of who I am and I'm comfortable with whom I choose to date.” She had further added, “I am not secretive, but I don't feel the need to say things out loud. It's up to me to decide when and what I want to share about my personal life, and it is up to the audience to decide how they look at it. How much information I want to put out in the public domain is my prerogative.”
For the uninitiated, Farhan and Shibani’s dating rumours took their first flight when the latter had posted a picture on her Instagram handle, wherein she was holding the hand of a man, whose back was facing the camera. The interesting fact was the ‘mystery man’s’ silhouette had an uncanny resemblance to Farhan Akhtar and that is how all the rumours about Farhan-Shibani’s relationship had begun.
