The couple had been dating for a while, and now, the media is buzzing with their wedding news. If the reports are to be believed, then the duo will be getting married on February 21, 2022.
Every now and then, Farhan and Shibani drop cutesy pictures with each other on their Instagram handle. They have never shied away to show their love for each other on social media platforms. For the unversed, Farhan Akhtar was previously married to Adhuna Bhabani, with whom he still shares a cordial relationship as they co-parent their two kids, Akira Akhtar and Shakya Akhtar.

On February 14, 2022, Farhan Akhtar took to his IG handle and shared a hilarious picture with his ladylove, Shibani Dandekar. In the photo, the duo can be seen wearing each other's face cut-outs, and Shibani, who looked like Farhan, was holding a photo frame of their picture. Along with it, the Toofan actor penned a funny caption to celebrate this special day of love. He wrote:
"I've heard that couples start looking like each other eventually but this is a first.. Happy Valentines Day @shibanidandekar (with a couple of heart emoticons)."
Amidst all their wedding rumours, a few days ago, Farhan had shared two pictures of his ladylove, Shibani Dandekar. In the pictures, Shibani could be seen in a casual look, sitting inside a car, wearing a mask. Sharing the photos, Farhan had written, "Forever co-traveller (with a heart emoticon)."

However, as soon as he had shared the pictures, the netizens didn't take it very well. They had started brutally trolling the actor and his relationship with Shibani. One of the followers had written, "Pehle wali bhi forever tha bhai, kitni baar forever hota hai", while another one had commented, "In logo ka forever kuch saal ka hi hota hai". In an interview with the Bombay Times, Javed Akhtar had opened up about his son's marriage and had shared that it would be a simple wedding affair. It would take place at Javed Akhtar's family home in Khandala. They will be having a few guests attending their wedding, keeping the COVID-19 protocols. The doting father had said:
"Yes, the wedding is taking place. Rest, shaadi ki jo taiyyariyan hain that is being taken care of by the wedding planners.”
