A mother and her child’s bond can never be explained in words. Sometimes it is hard for them to understand each other, still, there is no one, who can understand their bond better than them. Despite the altercations and varying thoughts, a mother gives her immense love to her kids equally and receives an equal amount of love from her kids too. It was in 2008 when ace choreographer and director, Farah Khan had welcomed her triplets, daughters, Diva Kunder and Anya Kunder, and son, Czar Kunder via IVF at the age of 43. In 2020, Diva, Anya and Czar had turned 12 and to mark the special day, Farah had posted a throwback picture. She had captioned it as “My world is small enough to fit into 1 picture… #tripletsturn12... time flies and it’s important to know what is truly important... #timeflies #flashback #birthday.”
Time flies, kids grow and with time comes wisdom to be able to understand the people around you. Farah Khan’s kids are 12 years old now, and they are growing to be gorgeous humans and the mommy often shares glimpses of the same. Like every mother, Farah Khan too, is always ready to protect her kids and we got a beautiful glimpse of the same. On her IG handle, Farah Khan shared a picture with her darling daughter, Diva, where the two can be seen tightly locking each other in the embrace of their love. It was her son, Czar, who clicked this heartmelting moment of the mother-daughter. Calling it the best way to start her day and wondering if she is protecting her daughter or if her daughter is protecting her, she wrote, “Am I protecting her.. or is she protecting me? Motherhood is certainly a blissful feeling and one must embrace it, no matter at what age. Farah Khan is a supreme example of it as her happily-ever-after with her kids makes us happy as well. In the month of November 2020, Farah Khan had written an open letter and had talked about her decision of embracing motherhood at the age of 43, encouraging women to opt for IVF. Farah had captioned her post as “Our choices make us. I became an IVF mom at 43 and I am glad I did so. I wish a great motherhood to all women out there who want to be mothers - naturally or otherwise. An open letter to all the women out there, reminding them that #ItsAWomansCall Are you with me ladies?” Farah had begun her note with “To All Women, our actions speak louder than words. Speaking about the choices she had to make that had helped her in becoming who she is today and how she had listened to her gut and had seized it every time, Farah Khan had continued, “As a daughter, wife and a mother, I’ve had to make many choices because of which I have become the choreographer, filmmaker and producer that I am. Every time I felt the moment was right, I listened to my gut and seized it. Whether it was for my career or for my family. We think about people’s judgements so much, we forget that it’s our life and it’s our call! Today I am a proud mother of three because of a choice. I became a mother when I was ready for it, not when the society deems “the appropriate age to conceive.” Thanks to advancements in science, I was able to do it via IVF at my age.
