Former Indian cricketer, Arun Lal will tie the knot for the second time with the love of his life, Bulbul Saha. Ever since their wedding news has come out, there has been a lot of curiosity amongst the netizens. So who is Bulbul Saha, with whom Arun at the age of 66, will get married? How did the two fall for each other and much more. In a recent conversation with Bollywoodshaadis, Bulbul talked about her love story with Arun, from their first meeting to what made them fall in love with each other.
For the unversed, Arun Lal had played for the Indian team from 1982 to 1989. Later in 1979, he had moved to Delhi from Kolkata and had started a cricket academy. However, in 1981, he had come back to Bengal and had joined the cricket team and currently, he is the Bengal Team's head coach. Unfortunately, he was also diagnosed with jaw cancer in 2016, and due to this, he had kept himself away from commentary. On the other hand, his to-be-wife, Bulbul Saha is a school teacher by profession and has been associated with a private school in central Kolkata for about eight and half years. They have been dating each other for quite some time now and are often spotted together.

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywoodshaadis, Bulbul Saha recalled the time when she had met the love of her life, Arun Lal for the first time. Recalling her first meeting, Bulbul shared that she had met him via their mutual friends. They had gone to a common friend's party, there they had gradually started talking with each other, and soon they fell for each other.
Bulbul recalled the tiny memorable incident about Arun which attracted her more towards him. Sharing how she fell for him, she said:
"It wasn't love at first sight, but we fell in love very soon. He is an extremely warm hearted person, he is an extremely good hearted person, and he has compassion for nature, animals, the poor, and the downtrodden. Supposes he is not carrying money and he is going in his car, and there are beggars, so he will almost scream at me, that give me your money, and he will start distributing it. Again he is extremely empathetic and sympathetic, so that's how I fell in love with him."
In the same conversation, Bulbul mentioned their farm in Raipur Burul, South 24 Paraganas, West Bengal. She shared that Arun Lal had taken this initiative along with several of his friends, and now he is the majority shareholder. Talking about the same, Bulbul shared that Arun's closeness to nature has attracted her to him. She added:
"No one knows that he has almost planted about 5000 trees. We have a farm, and the main aim is to gift something to the motherland. It is very close to Bawalii Rajbari, in Raipur Burul in South 24 Paraganas, and we name it the 'Papa's', it's a property on the Ganges, and we feel like it 'Baap Ka Sampatti', like God has given us, father has given us. And this humbleness of him is the thing which attracted me more towards him."
On being asked about the various qualities which Bulbul finds annoying yet lovable in him, she expressed:
"There are two things which I want to share. As I said, at every traffic signal, there are beggars, and invariably he don't use to carry the 10-20rupess changes, and I used to travel in the public vehicles, and generally, I'm the one who needs these changes, so he will tell me- give give give, you have to give, you can't stop. So he got that attitude, now what say."
She also further added a love-filled action which is always done by the man of her dreams, Arun. She explained:
"When I'm very busy with work, and he will call me and call me, where are you and where are you, and then he will say that something terrible had happened, and then he will say like that. And soon, he will start joking. So I used to tell him, 'What the hell? Can't you leave me alone?' So this is one of the funny incidents which I can say."
Further in the conversation, Bulbul opened up about the time that the duo had come close to each other. Due to the pandemic, all of us were confined within our homes. However, Bulbul revealed that it was only due to this that the duo could spend quality time with each other. She said:
"Actually I must say that this lockdown brought us closer. We could spend a long time together. We used to spend quality time on our farmhouse, with our dogs, and we just had a ball."

For the unversed, Arun Lal was earlier married to his ex-wife, Reena. However, the two had parted ways mutually. According to a source close to Arun, he is marrying Bulbul Saha for the second time with consent from his first wife, Reena. In the conversation with Bollywoodshaadis, Bulbul was asked about her relationship with her to-be-husband, Arun Lal's ex-wife, Reena. To this, Bulbul mentioned that she and Reena share a warm bond and added:
"Well, I knew her(Reena), and I told you that there were friends of friends, of course she is very ill. However, I share a very amicable relationship with her. She loves to eat, and on her birthdays and other special occasions, I make sure that I prepare some Bengali dishes and take them to her. And we share a very good relationship, yeah she is very old, and she is ill. She does understand some things, and she doesn't understand many things. However, that's not a big deal for me."

Concluding the conversation, she mentioned her wedding and the busy schedule she is going through right at this moment. She explained:
"Our wedding will be a little in between an intimate ceremony and a grand affair. Arun and I will be having our family and close friends. And we did our Gaye holud ceremony one week before our wedding since I'm already overburdened with my work as being a teacher, this is the case with all my colleagues in the same profession, and I'm also training my students for Rabindra Jayanti, so I can't take an off in between. So this Sunday(May 1, 2022), we are having a court wedding in the evening, and this will be followed by the social marriage on Monday(May 2, 2022)."

A source close to Arun and Bulbul revealed that the duo is very close to former India captain and current BCCI president, Sourav Ganguly. He also used to visit the duo on their farmhouse and spend quality time together. The source also revealed that it was Sourav at whose party the duo was introduced to each other.
Thus Sourav Ganguly is also reportedly invited to be present at their wedding party on May 2, 2022, at Peerless Inn, Esplanade, Kolkata. And according to the source, Arun has also sent an invitation to Ex Indian Cricketer and Ex India Team coach, Ravi Shashti, other CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal) officials and many more.
Well, we are super excited to get the first glimpse of Arun and Bulbul donning their wedding ensembles.
