Erica Fernandes, who is currently playing the role of Prerna Sharma, in the second season of the popular TV show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay is often in news for her link-up or breakup rumours with co-star Parth Samthaan. Erica and Parth’s off-screen bond makes their fans wonder if the two are dating in real-life as well. The two have though always maintained silence on their relationship status. Amidst the Coronavirus lockdown, the celebrities have been interacting with their fans through their social media handles. In a quick fun Instagram live with Pinkvilla, the actress answered her fan's questions candidly. Erica, who shares a great bond with her co-stars from Kasautii Zindagii Kay gave some quirky and sassy names to them. When a user asked Erica to give a name for Parth Samthaan and Hina Khan, the actress said, “Hina is Bindass, while Parth is a Kumbkaran, he always keeps sleeping.” She also gave names to her other co-stars and called Pooja Banerjee a Tomboy, Sahil Anand, a Jahil. She called Karan Singh Grover a Monkey, whereas she said Shubhaavi Choksey is a loudspeaker.”
On January 13 2020, the actress had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a love-filled post for her mystery man, making her fans more curious about the mystery man. Sharing a picture of her hand with beautiful rings on it, Erica had written, “When I’m with you, i act different, in a good way ofcourse. I always smile more, i always laugh more with you i can drop the fake smile (if any) and put on a real one. I don’t feel hurt or alone when I’m with you instead i feel safe and loved You’re easy to talk to and you listen to me. I don’t feel sad around you and you show me that you really do care in-fact i can see that you’re not pretending. Soon after the post, everybody wanted to know about her ‘mystery man’ and in an interview with Pinkvilla, Erica had talked about the same and had revealed that she is not engaged and all the rumours are baseless. She had said, “When I put up the post, I didn't think too much as honestly, this was just a general post about my personal life and space. A lot of people think I am very secretive in certain aspects, but that is not true, as I prefer being more private about my personal life. So today I just thought of opening up a bit more to people so that they can know a little more information about my own space, but again not too much!
