Popular actress, Neha Joshi is on cloud nine since she tied the knot with the love of her life, Omkar Kulkarni in an intimate wedding ceremony on August 16, 2022. In an interview, she opened up about the just-married duo's first meeting, which gradually became a beautiful organic connection. For the unversed, Neha is a prominent actress in the Marathi industry and had started her acting career with the commercial Marathi stage drama, Kshan Ek Pure.
She made her TV acting debut with the Marathi serial, Oon Paus in 2000. Since then, Neha Joshi has never looked back and worked in various films and TV soaps like Zenda, Poshter Boyz, etc. Currently, she plays the role of 'Bhimabai' (mother of Dr B.R. Ambedkar) in the TV serial, Ek Mahanayak - Dr.B.R. Ambedkar. Reportedly, she will soon be seen in the TV show, Doosri Maa.

In an interview with ETimes, Neha Joshi revealed that she had tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Omkar Kulkarni in an intimate wedding ceremony on August 16, 2022. The actress shared that their wedding was in a simple Maharashtrian style, and they would have a court marriage today i.e., on August 17, 2022. Revealing the most interesting part of her marriage, Neha said:
"Marriage was a very private affair for me and so were all the functions revolving around it. I kept it a very close and private affair because I have always wanted it like that for me. I just wanted to keep it a simple Maharashtrian afternoon wedding with just the family members and a few close friends. We have gotten married today and tomorrow it will be a court marriage along with a small reception. The most interesting part of our wedding was that two female priests got us married, which was a very unique thing. They explained to us in detail about each and every ritual of the ceremony. "
For the unversed, Neha's husband, Omkar Kulkarni is a scriptwriter, poet, and actor in the Marathi cinema. Earlier, he had worked as an English professor in a college. In the same interview, Neha shared that the duo had met on the sets of a Marathi TV show for the first time, and later their love had blossomed. She added:
"I met him on the sets of a Marathi TV show a decade ago. It was just meeting at first sight and not love. It was just an actor-to-actor relationship then and love blossomed five years later and till now none of us has proposed to each other. It happened very organically."

At the end of the conversation, Neha mentioned that her husband, Omkar is one year younger to her and their relationship was of two mature adults. Further, she added how love had grown between the duo. Talking about the same, she concluded:
"The age at which we met was not a very fantasy or lovey-dovey waala age. We were two mature adults meeting each other and falling in love. I am 38 now, and he is a year younger than me. Woh college time waala pyaar hota hai woh time nikal chuka tha. We both were working professionals focusing on our careers. But what we have is for keeps!"
