One such celebrity is Anas Rashid a.k.a. 'Sooraj' of Diya Aur Baati Hum, who surprised his fans with the announcement of his marriage with the girl of his parents’ choice. Anas had walked down the aisle with a Chandigarh based girl named, Heena Iqbal on September 10, 2017, in an intimate ceremony. Years passed in split seconds and on February 12, 2019, Anas gave a pleasant surprise to all his fans with a video that he had shared on his Instagram handle and had revealed that he is blessed with a baby girl. He had captioned the video as, "Hi dear ones, We are blessed with a baby girl yesterday. Both mother and baby are in good health. Thank you all for your blessings and wishes. Anas Rashid."
Today, on February 12, 2020, Anas celebrates the first birthday of their little angel, Aayat with friends and family. For the uninitiated, Heena is 14-years younger to Anas and was earlier working in the immigration sector. But the couple is living one of the best times of their respective life with each other. Both Anas and Heena had supported each other in different phases of their married life. But a lot of credit goes to the parents of Anas, who found their son’s soulmate for him. Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Anas had revealed the reason why he had married the girl of his mother's choice and had said, “Well, I heard about her from Ammi (mom) and rest of the family members 10 days back. I met her a week ago. I never thought about it. I knew that whatever Ammi would decide, I would say yes to it. I took me a minute to say yes to her but in practicality, it happened in a week.”
In the same interview, when Anas was asked about his beliefs in marriage and whether he was a fan of arranged marriage right from the start or not? The charming actor, Anas had revealed, “As a teen, I believed in love marriages and thought I would marry romantically. But with time and as I experienced life, I felt that arranged marriage would be best for my family and me. It is also good for a girl, I feel."
Well, we have to say Anas is quite close to his family and respects their decision. With that thing in mind, we can say he knows the value of family and is the reason why he tries to give more and more time to his little daughter from his busy schedule.
