After an engagement in January 2016, Divyanka Tripathi had officially added Dahiya to her name on July 8, 2016, after marrying her soul mate, Vivek Dahiya. Their wedding was viral on social media and everybody was talking about the union of these two beautiful souls. Divyanka had opted for every bride's favourite colour, red for her bridal lehenga, which she had accessorised with a choker, maang teeka, red bangles and kalire. Vivek had complemented her well in a beige coloured sherwani and a matching safa. Divyanka and Vivek had looked every bit of royal on their wedding day.

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, had revealed her plans for celebrating the festival for the fourth time post-wedding. She had said, “This year, Vivek is taking me shopping during the day, as for a change I’m not working today. In the evening, we will go on a moon-hunting drive, do the pooja and later, hopefully, go to a restaurant for dinner.” Speaking about the relevance of Karwa Chauth in 2020, Divyanka had continued, “The reason behind Karva chauth fast is more relevant today, looking at the horrors Covid-19 has caused. If the fast really works the way they say, I am going keep it for our entire family and loved ones this year. Yes, the festive spirits is lower this year, especially because we can’t have parties or get-togethers the way we used to. Celebrating Karwa Chauth in 2019, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya had looked like a vision in red and golden, while her hubby, Vivek Dahiya had opted for a casual combination of black t-shirt and carbon denim jeans. The duo had posted dreamy pictures from their Karwa Chauth celebrations and had made us shed a few happy tears! While the missus had captioned the picture as “Our Karwachauth #TwoMoonNight”, the mister had written, “Every year I ask her not to go through the trouble but she won’t listen. In barter, I’m left with no choice but to listen to her the entire year! #KarwaChauthSpecial #DivekForever #LoveExtendedToInstaFamily.”
Karwa Chauth 2018 was also a special one for Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya as for the same, the former had worn a red saree but the highlight of her entire OOTN was her bangles. Divyanka’s Karwa Chauth special bangles had ‘Vivek’ engraved on it. Vivek had taken to Instagram to post a picture from their ‘moon watching’ and had written, “A very special date night. Underneath the sky full of stars and our chief guest, “The Moon” who took his sweet to arrive but then it was worth wait.
