And that's exactly what happened with television actress, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya when she fell in love with her co-actor, Vivek Dahiya on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. It is said that love is not about how many days, months or years you have known the person, but rather it is all about how much you love each other, on every single day. And that's what Divyanka and Vivek felt when they started seeing each other with the thought of marriage. Yes, the duo didn't fell in love the moment they saw each other. It was their close friends, who introduced them to each other and that's when they saw each other as prospective partners. On July 8, 2016, the duo had tied the knot in a grand ceremony and since then they have been giving us #CoupleGoals.
On January 15, 2020, Divyanka and Vivek celebrated their fourth engagement anniversary. And to make the day extra special, Divyanka wrote a heartfelt note. Sharing a series of pictures, the actress penned, "It's not about the right face, body type, family, bank balance, work profile or horoscopes. It's about the #RightSoul your soul can connect with! Thank you @vivekdahiya for engaging with me on this day 4 years back. We managed to keep it under wraps for two-three months until this day, that's how much we loved each other that we didn't want any forces to tear us apart until our destinies got sealed together forever! On their third engagement anniversary, last year, Divyanka had shared a special anniversary wish for him and had written, "Amongst all the #Karmas done in my life, getting hitched with you was the best one! My best decision! #HappyEngagementAnniversary my love. It's so beautiful that a regular day for everyone can be so special for only two people in the universe owing to some reason exclusive to them." In a joint interview with the DNA, Vivek had talked about the first impression of Divyanka. He had shared, "We were in the same show but we never interacted with each other. I had not done any scenes with her for a long time, but I could gauge by her body language and from people around her that she was respected as a performer and a person. Always draped in a sari, I thought she was the Tulsi of today."
In the same interview, Vivek had narrated their love story and had said, "When a co-actor suggested that Divyanka and I should meet as both of us were single, my first reaction was 'What!' I had never thought of having an arranged marriage because I feel in today's times you need to take your time, know a person and not rush into it. But he insisted that we at least go for a coffee and we did. We had met with the perspective of seeing others as a life partner and in the first meeting itself, I was largely convinced that she is the one for me. But I decided not be hasty about it."
Vivek had further shared what attracted him towards Divyanka, and had stated, "Divyanka is very pleasant, positive person and I need that. I cannot handle negativity, possessiveness and restrictions. She blows me away while her smile – She has the best smile ever! I also love her eyes which show the willingness to commit. And the way she makes me feel when she is around is just great. We talk highly of compatibility but there is something beyond that which is underrated and that is the willingness to make it work, to be patient and give space to each other.
