2017 was year of celeb babies. Many celebs embraced motherhood in 2017 including Soha Ali Khan, Esha Deol, among many others. Another celeb who joined this club is none other than 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' fame, Disha Vakani.

Disha Vakani was blessed with a baby girl. Disha and Mayur Padia, her husband, embraced parenthood on November 30, 2017, when Disha delivered in a hospital in Powai. According to recent reports, Disha Vakani, who is much loved as 'Daya' on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is all set to return to the show after her maternity break. Owing to her pregnancy, she had disappeared from the show and wasn't seen on the screen since September. Reportedly, she will join the team of 'Taarak Mehta' in March.

The 38-year-old actress tied the knot in November 2015 with a chartered accountant, Mayur Pandya. It was a low-key affair, which was graced by just their closest friends and family members.

Owing to her popularity on TV and especially of her character, the producers of her hit show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah asked her to be a part of the show even after being a mother. And so was her maternity leave extended. And now that baby has arrived, we can hope to see her back on the small screen, after a few months.
