Popular actress, Dipika Kakar and her actor husband, Shoaib Ibrahim are all set to embrace parenthood for the first time. She is in her third trimester of pregnancy, and the duo announced their 'good news' on January 22, 2023. Since then, they have been updating their millions of fans with every minute detail of Dipika's pregnancy journey. Now, Dipika opened up about being brought up in a broken household, for which she cannot let anyone enter her personal life or make friends. However, she also mentioned Shoaib and her in-laws' help to fill the empty space in her life.

In an interview with ETimes TV, Dipika Kakar opened up about her disturbed childhood. She revealed being brought up in a broken family. Even though she mentioned how her parents played their parts completely, the actress spoke about the impacts of the troubled household. Dipika shared:

"When you grow up in a broken home as a child, I’m not saying that my parents did not do their duties for me. Individually they did their best for me and I totally respect my mother and father for it. They stood by me when it was needed the most. Today, I share a very cordial relationship with them individually and I’m in constant touch with them."

Dipika Kakar revealed her troubled childhood and its impact on her

In the same conversation, Dipika Kakar revealed how she became very introverted due to her disturbed household. Due to this, even today, she cannot allow people in her space. However, she always craved a happy home and family. The actress added:

"When you are raised in a disturbed family it hits you hard. Aur koi bhi kitna bhi kehle every child reacts differently. Some kids go into depression, some become aggressive, some become introverted. As a kid, main bahut sehmi hui thi that’s the reason I can’t make friends even today. I have a handful of friends, I’ve a lot of colleagues. I don’t allow people in my space and maybe it is because of that. When I grew up I always had an urge to have a happy home and family. I wanted my house to be full of emotions, happiness, and relationships."

Further, Dipika admitted how the empty space, which was created due to her disturbed family, was filled. She mentioned the void was filled by her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, his parents and sister-in-law, Saba Ibrahim's immense love and support for her. Talking about the same, Dipika revealed:

"The empty space that I had in my life where love, relations and happiness were missing, all these I got because of Shoaib and my family. Be it Shoaib, Ammi, papa, Saba. Is family mein aake Woh emptiness complete hua hai."

When Shoaib Ibrahim revealed how Dipika Kakar took full care of the interiors of his ammi's home

Ahead of Dipika's delivery, she and Shoaib have started renovating their existing house by clubbing two apartments together. The soon-to-be-parents keep sharing glimpses of their under-construction home. Recently, Shoaib shared glimpses from his parents' home after it became ready. In one of his vlogs, Shoaib gave a virtual tour of his ammi's home and shared that his pregnant wife, Dipika personally looked after the interior work. This proves Dipika's love for her in-laws, which is simply beautiful.
