The last quarter of every year is what most of the Bigg Boss freaks look forward to, for this is the time when the controversial reality show kick-starts. Bigg Boss season 12 had a few popular television celebrities and a few commoners as well. Getting through many tough situations and obstacles, famous television actress and Sasural Simar Ka fame, Dipika Kakar bagged the trophy and became the winner. Last night, i.e., on December 30, 2018, was the grand finale of Bigg Boss 12. While Dipika came out as a winner, ace-cricketer Sreesanth was touted as the first runners-up.
Dipika was in happy tears as soon as Salman Khan, the host of the show, announced her name. And just like any other husband, Shoaib Ibrahim and his family were on cloud nine. To express their happiness, Shoaib and Dipika’s in-laws organised a grand welcome at their residence. Dipika and Shaoib danced on the beats of dhol as they celebrated the victory. Not just this, the entire house was decorated with halogen balloons with pictures of Dipika from the Bigg Boss house hanging at the bottom. Also, there were rose petals all over the place in the living area of their house, wherein a special cake arrangement was also made. What grabbed everyone’s attention and made us go ‘aww’ was the fact that Dipika entered the house in the arms of her love, Shoaib. Here are the videos right from the celebrations:
Dipika and Shaoib are one madly in love with each other kind of couple. In fact, their different religions couldn’t come in between their union. Dipika’s conversion to Islam created buzz on the internet, but the actress came out in open and strongly stood up for it. Confirming her conversion to Islam, she shared, “Joh sach hai woh hai (Truth is the truth). It's true I have done it, but why and when I have done it, don't think it needs to be talked about. She further added and was quoted as saying, “For the audience and media, we are actors have always shared everything. All our happy moments we have shared with you all, but this I think is a very personal space and I don't give anyone the permission to enter the space. Definitely, it is true, and I am not denying it. I am very happy and proud that I have done it for myself and my happiness. She had also opened up about her inter-religion marriage decision and said, “I feel that when you are a celebrity you are constantly under the scanner and there are people who love you, but then there are also people who try to bring you down. We have always taken decisions in life only keeping our family in mind, if they are happy and fine then rest of the world doesn't matter to us. I don't consider myself a celebrity, we are very simple people and we like to lead a simple life.”
In a throwback interview together, the lovebirds shared the time they realised love for each other. The Sasural Simar Ka actress had shared, “When Shaoib quit SSK we still met and kept in touch, but when he went to Bhopal for a month and he was completely out of sight that's when we realized that it is love. Shoaib agreed with Dipika here and had added, “The same 40 days played an important role in bringing Dipika closer to my family. After I came back, I realized my mother and sister always talked about her first.”
