One of the most loved faces of the telly town, Dipika Kakar had added ‘Ibrahim’ to her surname on February 22, 2018, when she got married to the love of her life-cum-co-star, Shoaib Ibrahim. Whenever we hear or see a picture of Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim in one frame, all that we can think about is ‘goals’! From respecting and embracing each other’s religion to the bond that they share, Dipika and Shoaib take our breaths away! Hence, the occasion of Eid-al-Adha on August 12, 2019, was no different. The entire Ibrahim family had decked their best and Shoaib had posted a picture of the all happy clan on the occasion of the festival. Sharing the picture, the Battalion 609 actor had written, “#alhamdulillah #blessed.”
Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim complemented each other on Eid-al-Adha, in the shades of blue and maroon. The couple posted pictures from their ‘eat to their heart’s content’ and every meal was cooked by none other than Dipika! Posting pictures of themselves with the Eid delicacies, Shoaib wrote, “Mr & Mrs Ibrahim.” With a similar frame but with a different pose, Dipika posted yet another picture and revealed why she loves to cook. Her words could be read as “I love to cook!!! because he loves to eat.” To which, Dipika’s sister-in-law, Saba, poured in truckloads of praises for her bhabhi’s cooking skills as a comment, which read, “We all love to eat... because u cook so well... masha Alllah.. khane mein pyar mila dete ho.”
To give you a little recap of another Eid celebrations a while back, it was Eid-al-Fitr on June 5, 2019, when Shoaib Ibrahim had delighted his fans. Sharing an Eid special picture with his beautiful wife, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, he had wished his fans, ‘Eid Mubarak’. While Shoaib had looked dapper in a blue kurta and bandhala jacket, Dipika had mesmerised us in a bright yellow-coloured salwar. To cite with you all, an example of how much Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar Ibrahim love each and embrace each other’s religion and customs wholeheartedly, a few days back we had shared with you a picture that was sure to make you go all 'awww'! The holy month of Ramzan had just started for the Muslim community and Dipika and Shoaib had begun the rituals in full galore. A fan page of Shoaib and Dipika had posted the first-ever picture from the same, wherein, the couple was seen seated with their family, having the first meal of the day. Here’s the collage:
It was last year, in 2018 when Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had observed her first Ramzan and had celebrated her first Eid with her in-laws. In an interview with the TOI, Dipika had shared, “Preparations are in full swing. The best part about my family is that there are too many ladies and currently we all are on a shopping spree. I will be getting mehendi applied on my hand. One of my fans had come home especially do apply mehendi on my hand.”
In the same interview, as soon as she was addressed as ‘Mrs Ibrahim’, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had quipped, “The title itself makes me blush”. The actress had looked stunning in a green sharara which she had gotten designed from her close friend, Aaliya. With full enthusiasm and excitement, she had shared, “I am very excited and I am looking forward to this Eid. To make the festival even more special, I have got a special outfit designed by my friend. It is a bottle-green sharara made by my friend Aaliya. I wanted to wear a bottle green sharara for my first Eid and I have finally managed to try it.”
Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had also taken full kitchen responsibilities then too and had prepared a three-course meal for her hubby and family. She had added, “From tomorrow, I will take over the kitchen responsibilities. I am cooking too many dishes. Starting from chat to starters to main course biryani and obviously, it won't be complete without sheer korma. But exactly what all I will be cooking that you will get to know on Eid itself. There were multiple rumours and conjectures about Dipika Kakar Ibrahim converting to Islam for getting married to Shoaib Ibrahim. Confirming the same with The Times of India, the Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum actress had shared, “Joh sach hai woh hai (Truth is the truth). It's true I have done it, but why and when I have done it, don't think it needs to be talked about. I think it is a very personal matter and I don't think I need to talk about it openly in front of the media. For the audience and media, we are actors have always shared everything. All our happy moments we have shared with you all, but this I think is a very personal space and I don't give anyone the permission to enter the space. Definitely, it is true and I am not denying it. I am very happy and proud that I have done it for myself and my happiness. My family was with me in this decision and my intentions were to hurt anyone. This is my decision.”
