One TV celeb couple who is living their dream is none other than Sasural Simar Ka fame couple, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim.
From the climax train sequence to spreading romance in the mustard fields, this much-in-love couple is recreating the DDLJ moments in their pre-wedding shoot. With the final countdown started for the wedding, the soon-to-be bride and groom is busy with the village romance in their shoot. Shoaib posted a video on his official Instagram handle, and captioned it, “@ms.dipika Lets fall in love... all over again.. #dodilmilrahehain #shoaika”. Don’t they look adorable together in this desi style photo shoot? After so many speculations about their relationship and marriage, their fans are finally delighted with the wedding of ‘Shoaika’ that will take place in Bhopal on February 26, 2018. The couple left for their destination wedding on February 18 via train, and after the pre-wedding shoot, their pre-wedding functions i.e mehendi and sangeet will start from February 25. Their wedding will be followed as per the Muslim rituals and after their nikah, they will host a reception function for their industry friends in Mumbai.
Their wedding is a close-knit affair, and only family and intimate friends will attend it. Their wedding invitation card also surfaced online, and it had the most beautiful quote on the cover of it. The quote said, “Zindagi ki kitaab ko khoobsurat banaa rahe hain”. According to a source, Shoaib and Dipika both wanted their wedding to be a personalised affair. They chose to have a destination wedding, to avoid the media attention. And another reason behind choosing Bhopal as their wedding venue is that Shoaib’s family reside there, so it will be a great help to the couple for organising everything. Only their closest friends are invited to the wedding, and rest will bless the newly-weds at the Mumbai reception.
Their wedding preparations are going on in full swing and Dipika and Shoaib are sharing some moments of their wedding on their social media profiles. They are posting videos and pictures under the hashtag, #dodilmilrahehai. After dating for a long time, the lovebirds are finally set to take their wedding vows. They met on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka and then did a dance reality show, Nach Baliye 8 together. It was on the Nach Baliye 8 sets only, when Shoaib proposed to the love of his life. He got down on his knees and proposed her with a ring.
Shoaib accepted in an interview earlier that he is very romantic but when it comes to being expressive about love, he fails in that. Though he is completely smitten by his lady-love, he is not vocal about it. But Dipika, on the other hand, is extremely expressive and equally romantic. Now that they are about to begin their married life together, he shared that she has accepted him the way he is. She literally pampers him like a kid and he loves it. Dipika also revealed that she is closer to Shoaib’s mother than him. She has a great bonding with his family.
