Dilip Kumar’s health has become a matter of worry for his millions of fans as after getting discharged from the hospital 10 days ago, he has been admitted again. Earlier, it was on June 7, 2021, when he was admitted to Hinduja hospital due to difficulty in breathing, however, a few days later, he was discharged from the hospital.

On June 11, 2021, Faisal Farooqui had taken to Dilip Kumar's official Twitter handle and had delighted his massive fanbase with the news of his discharge from the hospital. Farooqui had tweeted, "With your love and affection, and your prayers, Dilip Saab is going home from the hospital. God's infinite mercy and kindness through Drs. Gokhale, Parkar, Dr. Arun Shah and the entire team at Hinduja Khar. --Faisal Farooqui."
Veteran actor, Dilip Kumar was admitted to Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital on Tuesday morning due to breathlessness. He is under observation in the ICU as it is the second time that he got admitted to the hospital within a month. Indianexpress.com quoted a hospital source saying, “Dilip Kumar was brought to the hospital yesterday, he had the same complaints that he had last time.”
The source further added that considering his age, Dilip Kumar’s family brought him to the hospital. He is under observation and his condition is stable. The source added, “So his family probably thought it was best to bring him to the hospital, considering his age and also because he was previously admitted with the same complaint. Today the doctors will see him again and take a call on his line of treatment. He is in the ICU so that we can continuously monitor him. He is under observation and he is stable. There is nothing to worry.”

On June 11, 2021, when Dilip Kumar was discharged from the hospital, he and Saira Banu were spotted outside the Hinduja Hospital along with their caretakers, family members, and security. The 98-year-old actor could be seen lying on a stretcher with a mask on his face. In the video, Saira Banu could be seen waving hands towards their fans and paparazzi, who were gathered outside the hospital.
On June 7, 2021, when Dilip Kumar was admitted to the hospital, Saira Banu had shared a picture with him from the hospital room. In the picture, the pain was visible on Dilip Kumar’s face as Saira Banu was comforting him. In another tweet, Saira Banu had revealed that Dilip Kumar was getting better. Her note could be read as "Past few days, my beloved husband, Yousuf Khan, has been unwell and recuperating at a hospital in Mumbai. Through this note, I want to thank all of you for keeping him in your prayers and for all the love and affection."
Saira Banu had further shared that her husband, Dilip Kumar's health is getting better, "My husband, my Kohinoor, our Dilip Kumar Sahab’s health is stable, and doctors have assured me that he should be discharged soon. I urge you to not believe in rumours. While I ask you to pray for Sahab’s health, I am praying that the Almighty keep all of you safe and healthy during this pandemic. Sincerely, Saira Banu Khan."
