Kaise main kahu tumse… Rehnaa hai terre dil mein… While most of us just heard this song playing in our head looking at Dia Mirza every single time, her now-husband, Vaibhav Rekhi had already confessed his love for her. Yes, the Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein actress, Dia Mirza is no more single and our hearts are broken beyond repair. The actress had given love a second chance in her life and had entered the ‘married ladies’ group on February 15, 2021, looking surreal. Dia Mirza had walked down the aisle and had embarked on the journey of a happy life with her Mr Right, Vaibhav Rekhi on February 15, 2021. She had looked like royalty in her laal shaadi ka joda as she had worn a red Banarasi saree by Raw Mango with a choker set, jhumki, maang teeka, green Maharashtrian bangles and gajra accentuating her look. To complement his better-half, Vaibhav had worn a white kurta-pyjama with a matching Nehru jacket. Dia and Vaibhav’s happiness had melted our hearts. It was Vaibhav’s daughter, Samaira, who had helped Dia walk down the aisle, leading her towards the mandap holding a “Papa’s Girls” placard. Dia’s marriage had truly set many right standards, however, the fact that their wedding was documented by a priestess received lots of lauds for the couple.
Can you ever imagine someone other than the pandit ji performing the puja for the pheras? Well, we haven’t seen it ever and it is the first time that Dia reminded us how wrong we were going! Yes, Dia and Vaibhav’s wedding was documented by a priestess and we feel ashamed of never considering this to be normal. Dia is living feminism in the truest sense and is truly empowering the women of our society. Taking to her IG handle on February 16, 2021, Dia had shared a few wedding pictures and in one picture, we could spot a priestess performing the rituals. Sharing the picture, Dia had written, “"Love is a full-circle that we call home. And what a miracle it is to hear its knock, open the door and be found by it. Sharing this moment of completion and joy with you..my extended family. May all puzzles find their missing pieces, may all hearts heal and may the miracle of love continue to unfold all around us #ThankYouPreeta #SunsetKeDiVaNe."”
Dia and Vaibhav’s decision to let a priestess officiate their wedding made a place in their fans' hearts and everyone is hailing the couple for their decision. While one user wrote, “priestess...living feminism in true sense", other user wrote, “So nice to see a woman officiating.” A user commented, “Congratulations Mam. I have ever seen a Lady Pandit in my life.. Bravo..” Take a look:

Before the wedding, on February 14, 2021, the Rekhi family had hosted a bridal shower for Dia Mirza and had welcomed her into their family. For the celebration, Dia had picked a beautiful full-sleeve white-hued gown with a veil and ‘bride’ tiara over her head, and a bride-to-be sash. But as always, it was Dia’s million-dollar charming smile that had won our hearts. One of Dia’s friends had posted an unseen picture of the bride-to-be from her bridal shower and the actress had reposted the same on her IG handle. Dia had also posted a picture of her bridal mehendi, and flaunted her pyaar for Vaibhav with the lovely pre-wedding glimpse.
