We still remember the day when Dia Mirza had left everyone shocked when she had announced her divorce from her ex-husband, Sahil Sangha after five years of marriage. It had instantly become a piece of juicy news for the media mills and gossipmongers, who had started linking things and creating facts that were all false. But Dia has been keeping her head high, and never paid any heed to all the false news.
On February 13, 2021, Dia enjoyed a pre-wedding bash with her beau, Vaibhav Rekhi and family. In the picture that has been trending on the internet, we saw the bride-to-be, Dia donning a white sheer dress. She kept her makeup minimal with open tresses. On the other hand, her beau wore a striped white and pink shirt. Dia got a warm welcome from her soon-to-be sister-in-law, Pooja Dadlani, who shared a couple of pictures from the crazy night. For those who don't know, Dia will be tying the knot with Vaibhav on February 15, 2021. According to a report in SpotboyE, the wedding is going to be an intimate affair in the presence of family members, some relatives, and close friends. Dia's to-be-husband lives in Bandra's Pali Hill area, and it is suggested that the two had become close during the lockdown phase. Vaibhav was earlier married to a well-known yoga instructor, Sunaina Rekhi and together they have a daughter. Talking about Dia and Sahil's love story, in an interview with The Times of India, Dia had opened up about the man in her life. She had shared, "I like his mind the most, his values, the way he thinks. I have never seen him treat people differently. That, for me, is the biggest thing. It’s rare to come by a person who has the ability to put everyone before themselves and to just treat everybody with dignity. In my mind, I have been married to Sahil from the day we have known each other. I am a great believer in God’s timing. And there must be a reason why it didn’t happen when it didn’t. But I think, now more than ever, I want to be married to him. We have fixed October 2014 and if it doesn’t happen then, I will not marry him."
