November 14-15, 2018, marks the day when these two big brands of B-town and madly in love with each other duo had entered the holy bliss of matrimony. They had gotten married in two wedding styles, a Konkani wedding and a Punjabi-Sindhi wedding. Ever since they have been pronounced as husband and wife, they keep gushing about each other in media interactions. Just like that, giving another scoop of what had attracted her towards the ‘Gully Boy’ Ranveer, the Chhapaak actress shared that he is very honest and totally genuine in expressing his emotions and that’s what got her closer to him. She was quoted as saying, “There is no pretence with him, no holding back. People hate him or love him for that, but that’s who he is. He’s genuine, very good at articulating his feelings. He’s not afraid to cry. That’s what got me.” And this is so true as we have seen him expressing his feelings quite often during interviews and award shows. In fact, when he had gotten the Best Newcomer Award for Star Screen Awards, he had cried on stage without hesitation.
Talking about her husband, Ranveer in a Times of India interview, Deepika had shared that he is a completely different person at home. She had revealed that there is a vulnerable side of him too. In Deepika’s own words, “I don’t know what happens when he leaves the house as he’s an extremely different person then which I think also people will start seeing. On the other hand, Ranveer had once shared about his experience as a married man and had said, “I’m loving it and highly recommend it. I have been married to Deepika in my head for years now. Just a few months into our relationship, I knew she was the one for me and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. I had committed my life to her well before the rituals. I was waiting for her to be ready for it.”
In a GQ interview, Deepika had poured her heart out when she had talked about Ranveer. Talking about spending the rest of her life with him, she had shared, “I think you just know when you want to spend the rest of your life with that one person – and he’s everything rolled into one man. He’s my best friend, playmate, companion and confidant.
