Deepika Padukone is again leading the headlines for her outfits. Recently, her sultry beachy look from the film, Pathaan’s song had grabbed the attention of many online trollers. Once again, the actress got questioned for donning a bizarre outfit from the luxurious brand, Louis Vuitton at the FIFA World Cup Final 2022 to unveil the trophy.
On December 19, 2022, Deepika Padukone took to her IG space and posted a Reel from her visit to Doha, Qatar. In the clip, the stunning actress was seen donning a white shirt layered with a designer brown leather jacket. She elevated her look with a black mid-length skirt. A statement belt at the waistline and a pair of black boots completed Deepika’s look for the day. Her head-to-toe customised outfit was from the popular luxury brand, Louis Vuitton. She made history by being the first Indian to unveil the FIFA World Cup Final trophy in 2022.

In the clip, Deepika was seen giving her autograph on footballs, books and papers. In the next segment, she talked about her nervousness as this was her first time in Doha. While complementing the craftsmanship of Louis Vuitton’s clothes and bags, she revealed that her special outfit, which was specifically designed for her, made her feel absolutely comfortable. She said:
“It’s a very special look by my very dear friend Nicolas. And what I love about it is that it’s so perfect for what we are going to do which is unveiling the trophy. But at the same time, it’s really comfortable.”
Though the Bollywood actress looked phenomenal in the outfit and carried her look with utmost poise and grace, some netizens did not stop trolling her. One user wrote, “She’s gorgeous. But absolutely horrible outfit.” Another one commented, “Really bad Louis Vuitton! Her dress doesn’t look great. She doesn’t look like the house ambassador at all, what you made her to wear such duffle leather bag with funny bottom skirt.” One more fan pointed out that the outfit didn’t match Deepika’s personality and wrote, “Its really disappointing to see a beautiful woman dressed like this whatever the brand might be, who ever the designer might be. This dress is a disaster.”

Taking to her IG stories a few hours ago, Deepika reposted a photograph from her husband, Ranveer Singh's story. In the picture, we could spot the miya-biwi, Ranveer and Deepika enjoying the historic football match at the stadium and posing for the camera. Atop the photo, the Pathaan actress penned a sweet note and wrote:
“A couple that watches a FIFA World Cup Final together, stays together.”
