The wedding becomes even more special if it is graced by a Bollywood diva who happens to be your best friend! Deepika Padukone was in Bengaluru recently with husband, Ranveer Singh to attend her best friend’s wedding. The diva looked gorgeous in a black ensemble by Sabyasachi Mukherjee and had stormed the internet with her gorgeous looks. Deepika Padukone and her husband, Ranveer Singh are all set to celebrate their first wedding anniversary on November 14-15, 2019. The couple recently attended the wedding of Deepika’s best friend in Bengaluru and the couple had blown the social media with their much-talked-about camaraderie. Deepika, who attended the pre-wedding bash in a black Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensemble looked like a vision in her beautiful attire. She opted for smoky eyes and nude lips and had accentuated her look with traditional multi-coloured jewellery.
On November 11, 2019, Deepika took to her Instagram story and shared a picture of herself where she looked unwell. She also puts an emoticon of a thermometer hinting about a possible fever. Her words atop the picture could be read as “When you have too much fun at your best friend’s wedding!” Deepika was dressed in a white top with blue floral print and looked extremely pale and ill. On November 10, 2019, Deepika and Ranveer had a blast at her best friend’s wedding and we came across an adorable video of the couple dancing at the sangeet ceremony and making the audience go crazy. The much-in-love couple shook a leg at Bollywood’s dance numbers and it was Ranveer Singh who had stolen the show when he took the mike and had entertained the guests with his rap performance. Deepika and Ranveer had the best love story and a fairytale wedding. For Ranveer, it was love at first sight. He first met the diva at Zee Cine Awards in Macau and had revealed that he clearly remembers what she wore on that day. In an interview with the GQ magazine, Deepika had revealed that she is blessed to have a husband like Ranveer. She had further revealed that Ranveer is not just her husband, he is her best friend and her confidant too and had quoted, "I think you just know when you want to spend the rest of your life with that one person – and he’s everything rolled into one man. He’s my best friend, playmate, companion and confidant. I can be silly in front of him, I can be stupid in front of him, I can be sick in front of him, I can be whatever I want to be."
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Deepika had shared how Ranveer made her believe in love. She had stated, "Over a period of time because it's the small things that he did and the little things that he said which made me believe and feel more and more that he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. The foundation of our relationship is just solid friendship and for any successful relationship, that's very essential. It started off on that note right from the beginning and over the years that we have dated, it only became stronger and stronger. Over a period of time, I don't think there was that one definite moment."
Deepika is one of the most successful actresses of Bollywood and credits her husband for her success, who has always been supportive and comfortable with her success. According to her, Ranveer has always been her pillar of support and respected her decisions. She had further revealed that she didn’t make any compromises for Ranveer and he had accepted the way she is which is the best part of Ranveer and the reason for their rocking marriage.
