Newbie parents, Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary are the most loved couple in the telly industry. They had become a household name following their stint in the popular daily soap, Ramayan. Somewhere between the ‘lights, camera, action’ the cupid had struck the couple, and they had tied the knot in February 2011. After 10 years of marital bliss, Debina and Gurmeet were blessed with a baby girl, Lianna on April 3, 2022.
The madly-in-love duo loves to celebrate every festival, and the Bengali festival Jamai Sasthi was no different. Debina’s doting hubby, Gurmeet got pampered by his in-laws on the auspicious occasion, and the cute glimpses are unmissable. For the unversed, Jamai Sasthi is a Bengali festival, dedicated to the sons-in-law of the family. Jamai in Bengali means son-in-law, who gets pampered by gifts, delicious home-cooked Bengali foods and immense love from his in-laws.

On June 5, 2022, Debina Bonnerjee took to her IG handle and shared three glimpses from the festival of Jamai Sasthi. In the pictures, we can see Debina’s mother adorably feeding her Jamai, Gurmeet from the Bengali food platter they prepared, especially for him. The frame also featured Debina and her father, who looked all smiles while observing the ritual. In the other two pictures, Gurmeet was seen in a Namaste pose while his saasu maa was seen blowing a sankha. Alongside the photographs, Debina penned:
“So its #jamaishoshti2022 Like how time flies. It was only yesterday that we celebrated Jamai Shasti.. But it was last year… yes such is life..”
On May 23, 2022, Debina Bonnerjee had shared a video on her YouTube channel, Debina Decodes. In the video, the newbie mommy had revealed how her morning routine has drastically changed after the birth of her little munchkin, Lianna. She had even shared her urge to get back to her pre-pregnancy fitness routine. In one of the video segments, Debina had opened up about her mother's role in her life, and she had lauded her for her immense support. Then, the actress had broken down in tears while explaining how her mommy has made things easier in her life. Check it out below:

Further, in the video, Debina had mentioned that though her fans are eager to see Lianna’s face, she would post pictures of her baby after a few days. Spilling the beans on why she hasn't done that already, the actress had shared that Lianna doesn’t look at her when she calls out her name, and instead, looks here and there. Debina had added that once Lianna starts looking at the camera, she'll reveal her face.
