According to a report in NDTV, On September 15, 2022, Nora Fatehi was questioned by Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing to investigate her connection with conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Along with the actress, it was Sukesh's close aide, Pinky Irani, who was also grilled over her involvement in the 200-crore money laundering case. During the investigation, Nora Fatehi's brother-in-law, Mehbood a.k.a., Bobby Khan was also enquired by the Economic Offences Wing, and it was revealed that the latter had received a luxurious BMW car worth Rs. 65 lakhs from Sukesh. The confession has broken the headlines as it has once again proved just how deep Sukesh's connections are in the entertainment industry.
In the probe, it was also reported that Nora Fatehi told the Economic Offences Wing that she had never met Sueksh Chandrasekhar and his aide, Pinky Irani, in person. Although not many details are in the hands of the investigating team about the actress' brother-in-law, Bobby Khan and Sukesh Chandrasekhar's conversations and meetings. However, in a conversation with The Times Of India, one of the investigating officers opened up about the same and shared that the car is registered as Nora's brother-in-law, Bobby's name in the records. He said:
"However, Shekhar told Bobby that he was okay with Fatehi not wanting it and, instead, offered the BMW to Bobby as a token for future deals. The car was found registered in Bobby's name."

Apart from this controversy, Nora Fatehi remains in the headlines because of her fashion quotient. The actress and renowned dancer never skips a chance to stun everyone with the price of her outfits. For instance, on January 31, 2022, Nora had taken to her IG handle and shared a picture from her holiday in Dubai. In the picture, Nora had donned a brown top, which she had paired with light blue denim and a long fur white coat. However, what had caught everyone's attention was Nora's chic bag, which came with a whopping amount of USD 5,200, when roughly converted into Indian currency, it came up to Rs. 3,89,690.
