It is said that time is not always the same! For actress, Meghana Raj, something similar had happened in the year 2020, as it had brought her a bag full of sadness and happiness at the same time. It was on June 7, 2020, when Meghana had lost her husband and actor, Chiranjeevi Sarja, due to cardiac arrest. She was expecting their first baby at that time and had maintained a strong stance. Later, on October 22, 2020, Meghana had welcomed a baby boy, who is fondly called Jr. Chiru.
On September 2, 2021, the doting mommy, Meghana Sarja had shared that she will be announcing their baby boy’s name on September 3, 2021. Sharing a video of her memories with her late husband and clips of their baby boy, Meghana had captioned it as “Lets open the gates of paradise… our little ‘Prince’ now has a name… the first question i was asked regarding JrC was ‘yen hesaru Junior du’ … and now finally the King has decided a name for his Prince… Revealing on September 3rd 2021.”

From being called various names, Jr. Chiru finally has an official name, and Meghana announced the same with a beautiful video, filled with lifetime memories. At the end of the video, Meghana revealed the name of their baby boy as “Raayan Raj Sarja.” She captioned the video as “The name is….”
On April 22, 2021, Meghana Raj and late Chiranjeevi Sarja’s baby boy had turned six months old. The doting mommy had organised a grand Boss Baby-themed party on his half birthday. Meghana had shared glimpses of her son’s half-birthday celebrations, where the little munchkin had looked like a mushball in his blue ethnic attire. Along with the pictures, Meghana had written, “6 months have gone by ... u can now say all ur gaas and goos perfectly! Appa and i love u so much! #chiranjeevisarja #JrC #Simba.”

When Jr. Chiru had turned four months old, Meghana had taken to her IG handle to share adorable pictures of her little man. In the pictures, Late Chiranjeevi Sarja and Meghana’s baby boy had looked cute in his blue onesie, with a crown printed on it. Along with the pictures, Meghana had written, “Its been four months of sheer happiness and sleepless nights... forever to go! My baby prince. #jrc #oursimba #chiranjeevisarja.”
In an interview with The Times of India, Meghana Raj had talked about how she is acing the role of both, a father and mother to her little bundle of joy. Calling motherhood one of the toughest jobs, Meghana had recalled how she had witnessed one of the lowest phases of her life when she was pregnant and it was her mother, who had stood like a pillar of strength for her. She had also revealed that her son looks exactly like his father, late Chiranjeevi Sarja. Meghana had further shared that she often sings lullabies to her little one and most of them are songs from Chiru’s films.
Jr. Chiru’s official name, Raayan has been derived from his late father’s name, and it means heaven’s flower!
