Television actress, Charu Asopa has been going through a legal battle with her estranged husband, Rajeev Sen. However, in the midst of it, Charu Asopa never fails to come in support of Rajeev Sen's sister and her sister-in-law, Sushmita Sen. Recently, Charu opened up about her relationship with her sister-in-law, Sushmita and called the bond special.
Charu Asopa tied the knot with Rajeev Sen on June 7, 2019, after a brief period of dating. The first year was a bed of roses, but in the end, differences started to pop up between them. It was in 2020 when Rajeev left Charu and came to Delhi. After which, rumours of their divorce started spreading. Within a few months, they had reunited. But it looks like this time, Rajeev and Charu are parting ways for real.

Recently, in an interview with The Times Of India, Charu talked about her equation with Sushmita Sen. She shared that the relationship she is having with her is special, as she always welcomed her. Charu also added that there are some bond that needs to be cherished and her relationship with Sushmita is one of them. She said:
"Sushmita didi is a wonderful person inside out – she is a wonderful actor and an even better human being. She has always been extremely welcoming to me since the beginning and I will always cherish the bond she and I share. Few bonds are meant to be cherished for life and my relationship with her is one of love adulation and immense respect."
Charu also talked about Rajeev's accusation of her using the victim card to her advantage. She said that she doesn't want to wash her dirty linen in public. Charu shared:
"As far as Rajeev calling me a master of the art of playing victim card goes, I honestly am done washing one’s dirty linen in public. I have put my point across and that’s all from my end."
On the work front, Charu is a YouTuber and often shares her life with her daily Vlogs!
