Their wedding was a perfect glimpse of famous Bollywood movie, Hum Saath Saath Hai (1999) with full of drama, love, romance, and performances. Rajeev and Charu even showed us real couple goals when they jumped to pani puri stall right after their varmala. Ever since Charu turned Mrs Sen, we are hooked to their Instagram handle.
On August 11, 2019, Rajeev Sen celebrated his 36th birthday and his wifey, Charu made sure to make his day super special. And as a customary ritual of Gen-X, she took to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of pictures and a video from his birthday celebration. Along with it, she wrote, "So it’s my husband’s first bday with me. It’s extremely special to me. Babie you always make me feel so special so today I really wanna tell you how special you are for me. But you know what I can’t explain it in words, that’s not possible. But I will just tell you that my world starts with u and ends with you. You complete me. Y dint you meet me before. Khair ant bhala toh sab bhala. So happy bday to the world’s most romantic and thoughtful husband alive. Love you, world's most amazing husband. Rajeev also took to Instagram to thank his wife, Charu for making his birthday the best. He shared a couple of pictures on his Instagram from his birthday celebration, and wrote, "My bestest birthday ever. You made it so so so special @asopacharu. So lucky to have u in my life as my wife. Beyond blessed."
Coming back to their love story, in an interview with The Times of India, Charu had spilt the beans on her relationship. She had shared how life played its game, "After our first meeting, we had decided to catch up again over coffee, but I left for my hometown, Bikaner. I was on a much-needed break after my show, Jiji Maa, ended. In fact, I hadn’t decided when to return. However, as luck would have it, I was offered KarnSangini and had to report on the set the very next day." She had further added, "I texted Rajeev from the set and told him that we could meet for coffee. I had assumed that the meeting would end in half an hour. However, we went on talking for hours until I told him that I had to leave as I had an early call time the next day. We started chatting, spending time together and the rest, as they say, is history. I don’t know if I can call it love at first sight, but it looks like that."
In the same interview, Charu had also talked about Rajeev and his qualities that attracted her, "Rajeev is good-looking and honest. He is more romantic among the two of us. Also, he pampers me and takes care of me. He feels that I am real, simple and without any facade. Both of us are looking at a relationship for keeps. The best aspect of our relationship is that we are transparent. We know about each other’s past and have never felt the need to hide anything from each other."
