The popular celebrity couple, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen are on the verge of giving divorce to each other. With the passing of every single day, their fans are witnessing new lows in their married life. From accusing each other of having affairs to severe allegations against one another in the media, Rajeev and Charu have become the talk of the town for all heartbreaking reasons. However, what's even more painful for their fans is the fact that both of them are making some severe allegations about each other's past in the media.
However, just when we thought that things would only go worse from here, in a recent interview, Charu Asopa opened up about the advice Sushmita Sen gave to her in the matter of divorce. While some of the fans of this estranged couple would find it hard to accept, it is rightly accepted by Charu.

In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, the stunning actress, Charu Asopa opened up about Sushmita Sen's take on her decision to give divorce to Rajeev Sen. Reflecting on the kind of reaction she gave to her and Rajeev's divorce preparations, Charu revealed that not for once, Sushmita told her not to prioritise her happiness. The estranged wife admitted that Sushmita had told her always to make her own happiness her biggest priority, irrespective of anything or anyone. Charu also added that she and Rajeev's respective parents have told them to resolve their differences, but it was Sushmita, who always told her to make a decision that makes her happy. Revealing the same, she said:
"No she (Sushmita Sen) has never said that. She has never told us to work it out. She has always asked me to prioritise my own happiness, from day one. Parents have said that the marriage should work and we should try and resolve the differences. But never didi. She always said if you are not happy…do that which makes you happy."

Going further in the same conversation, Charu Asopa also admitted that she had hardly shared anything bad about her married life with her parents, as they were old and dealing with a lot of health issues. In order to not make them worried about her and affect their health, Charu had decided to keep everything inside her. However, the actress admitted that Sushmita Sen was the one person with whom she had shared almost everything. She said:
"I never bothered her much asking her to intervene but she is family, she got to know things. I do not even call or tell these things to my in-laws as they are aged people and have health issues to deal with."
At the end of the interview, Charu Asopa opened up about Sushmita Sen's take on her unhappy marriage with her brother, Rajeev Sen. When the actress was asked whether she had taken her brother's side, the former completely rubbished the claims and stated that Sushmita always advises her to prioritise her mental health. Then, revealing what advice Sushmita gave to her, Charu said:
"I have never bothered anyone saying 'I am in difficulty, please help me'. Whenever I talked about it to didi (Sushmita), she has always told me 'if you can stay happy together, stay together but if you will be happy separated then go separate ways'."
For the unversed, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen announced their separation earlier this year.
