Charu Asopa is thrilled to bits as she celebrated her first Dhanteras with her daughter, Ziana Sen. The little munchkin was recently diagnosed with dengue, but the zeal of festivity has got her and her mom so excited that they are all dressed up and ready to enjoy the festival of lights.
Charu had tied the knot with Sushmita Sen’s businessman brother, Rajeev Sen, on June 7, 2019. It has been four years of their marriage, but the couple still faces compatibility issues. Recently, news of their divorce had surfaced on the internet, and allegedly they blocked each other on their respective Instagram handles.

October 22, 2022, marked the auspicious festival of Dhanteras. People all across the nation celebrate the day by buying utensils of steel or by purchasing gold and diamond jewellery. Similarly, Charu and Ziana decked up and shared beautiful glimpses of their Dhanteras look. While the actress donned a yellow-coloured lehenga which was adorned with green borders, Ziana wore a purple top and white pants. Charu made her look stand out by opting for a statement matha patti. Alongside it, she penned:
“Happy Dhanteras to everyone.”
Ziana Sen will turn one year old on November 1, 2022. However, her mommy, Charu Asopa, had celebrated a pre-birthday bash on October 11, 2022, with her family as she patched up with her mother. Taking to her IG handle, she had dropped an array of pictures from the celebration, where the birthday girl was surrounded by all her loved ones, including her mama-mami and nana-nani. Charu’s caption could be read as:
“Today we celebrated Ziana's birthday with nana-nani mama- mami. masi .. My jaan was looking like a doll today. I just wanna say I love you so much mera bachha u will never ever feel that you are alone coz Ill always be there for you. Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is.”

Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Charu Asopa was asked about the reason behind unfollowing Rajeev on Instagram. Answering this, Charu had revealed that she did not unfollow Rajeev on IG, and in fact it was Rajeev who blocked her after flying to Delhi. The actress added that now she has no clue what her husband was doing or where he was staying. Charu could be quoted as saying:
“I did not unfollow him, he blocked me. He has gone to Delhi and waha jaane ke baad he just blocked me. I have no clue what he is doing or where he is.”
