However, the two aren't divorced yet, and in fact, Farhan Mirza had recently said that he won't divorce Chahat Khanna if it's forced. Chahatt Khanna and Farhan Mirza may be on bitter terms with each other but the one string that still attache them are their darling daughters, Zohar Mirza and Amaira Mirza. In fact, in August 2018, Chahatt Khanna had posted a picture with her daughter, Zohar and hashtagged it with the words 'single mom'. That's when media reports started flooding in about her and Farhan's marital issues.
But no matter what, you may distance yourself from your partner but it's impossible to detach yourself from your children. And when marriages go kaput, no matter what the terms were, an estranged couple always thinks of their baby first. Something similar happened yesterday, April 21, 2019, when Chahatt Khanna and Farhan Mirza's daughter, Zohar Mirza hung out with her parents. Chahatt Khanna took to her Instagram stories to share pics from the outing in which Zohar could be seen really enjoying with her dad, Farhan. Chahatt Khanna, in an interview with the Bombay Times, had shared the details about the problems with Farhan Mirza. She had revealed that her now-estranged husband had accused her of prostitution. The Qubool Hai star had stated, “It was not just s***** abuse, I went through financial and mental abuse, too. The atmosphere in the house was driving me crazy. He would accuse me of prostitution and having an affair with a co-actor. He would make surprise visits on the set of my show (Qubool Hai) and create a fuss when I had to hug or even hold hands with my co-actor on screen. Chahatt Khanna had further blamed Farhan Mirza for asking her if their baby was his or someone else’s. Chahatt had retorted, “Farhan would always keep an eye on me. He even followed me from one room to another. I was not allowed to take both my kids together outside the house, as he knew that I would leave him. It was solitary confinement of sorts. In fact, he even accused me of dating his own brother. During both my pregnancies, he would ask me if the babies were his. A day before and four days after the delivery of my second baby, he dragged me out of the house and asked me to leave. He also used to manhandle me during fights.”
Detailing out further, Chahatt Khanna also revealed that Farhan had tried to separate her from her parents. The 32-year-old actress was quoted as saying, “He brainwashed my parents and moved them to Haldwani, Nainital. Once they left Mumbai, he stopped taking their calls, but fortunately, they returned for me. No parents would tell their daughter, especially when she is married for the second time with two kids, to leave her husband. My parents did that to save me. My mom told me to run away from him because he wouldn’t let me leave him. No mother in the world would say that.”
Farhan Mirza has also been vocal about his issues with Chahatt Khanna. He had recently revealed to SpotboyE that he had asked Chahatt to come back home with kids. Farhan had stated, “I told her, ‘No matter what you have done, I have forgiven you for it. I love you and I love my children, so please just come home.’ I did tell her that I wasn’t willing to go to the media and discuss what happened between us. But her sudden disappearance with my children and summons on me and my mother forced me to do that. I haven’t defamed her. In fact, she has defamed me by calling me her ex-husband, estranged husband, divorced husband when we are still very much married.
