Who doesn’t want a perfect family, with a doting husband and loving kids in the house? But seems like, at times, the picture-perfect family notion is ruined by the reality of divorce, as in reality, there is no room for the fantasies. One of the most shocking divorces of telly world is of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain fame, Chahatt Khanna with her second husband, Farhan Mirza. In July 2018, Chahatt posted a picture with her daughter with a hashtag ‘single mom’ in the caption, and since then, she has been grabbing a lot of headlines for her personal front. After an ugly spat between them, Chahatt Khanna and Farhan Mirza parted ways and the former is living happily with their two kids, Zoharr Mirza and Amaira Mirza. After the rumours of the trouble in their marriage grabbed the headlines in 2018, Chahatt shared a photo of her right arm, flaunting a tattoo with her husband, Farhan’s name. When contacted by the Times of India, she was then quoted as saying, “I think it is too early to comment on it. I shall comment on it when the time is right. I am glad you called me up rather than just writing about it. I request media to give me the much-deserved privacy.”
Yet again, Chahatt Khanna had posted a photo of her, looking stunning in her black outfit. She captioned the post as, “I'll be waiting for my dawn ... outfit @amaarzo #chahattkhanna makeover team @stylistsony @make_up_by_vinal clicks @amitmore_photography”. But what caught everyone’s attention was the tattoo she flaunted, with her ex-husband Farhan’s name. And she was trolled by some of her fans to flaunt her ex’s tattoo. An Insta-user, arshiya8718 commented on Chahatt Khanna’s post, “Nikal do yaar vo tatoo uss gande insan ki koi nishani nie chahiyea”. To which, Qubool Hai actress gave a sassy reply and wrote, “@arshiya8718 mind ur bussniess”.
On March 23, 2019, Chahatt Khanna had posted another picture wherein she had flaunted the tattoo and another Insta-user asked her to remove the name of her ex-husband. A user named perfect_imperfect_girl_609 commented on Chahatt’s post, “@chahattkhanna Q...... it's mean you still love this So far, do not you remove this tattoo from your arm”. In an interview with the Bombay Times, Chahatt Khanna revealed that her husband, Farhan Mirza had accused her of prostitution and having an affair with a co-actor. The Qubool Hai star had stated, “It was not just s***** abuse, I went through financial and mental abuse, too. The atmosphere in the house was driving me crazy. He would accuse me of prostitution and having an affair with a co-actor. He would make surprise visits on the set of my show (Qubool Hai) and create a fuss when I had to hug or even hold hands with my co-actor on screen. Chahatt Khanna had further blamed Farhan Mirza for raising questions about her character and asked her if the babies were his or someone else’s. Chahatt added, “Farhan would always keep an eye on me. He even followed me from one room to another. I was not allowed to take both my kids together outside the house, as he knew that I would leave him. It was a solitary confinement of sorts. In fact, he even accused me of dating his own brother. During both my pregnancies, he would ask me if the babies were his. A day before and four days after the delivery of my second baby, he dragged me out of the house and asked me to leave. He also used to manhandle me during fights.”
Later in an interview with SpotboyE, Farhan Mirza revealed that Chahatt Khanna had called him and he has asked her to come back home with kids. Farhan had stated, “I told her, ‘No matter what you have done, I have forgiven you for it. I love you and I love my children, so please just come home.’ I did tell her that I wasn’t willing to go to the media and discuss what happened between us. But her sudden disappearance with my children and summons on me and my mother forced me to do that. I haven’t defamed her. In fact, she has defamed me by calling me her ex-husband, estranged husband, divorced husband when we are still very much married. Chahatt Khanna and Farhan Mirza tied the knot in 2013 and are blessed with two kids, Zoharr Mirza and Amaira Mirza.
