Bade Acche Lagte Hain fame, Chahatt Khanna is a single mother to her two daughters, Zoharr and Ammaayra. The actress had once in a conversation with Zoom talked about how she feels that the term ‘Single Mother’ is insulting as people have developed some hard-hitting perceptions regarding the term which hurt her. However, we feel that Chahatt is doing a great job as a single mother as she is teaching her daughters every valuable lesson of life single-handedly.
The actress has turned 33, and her little daughter, Zoharr has made her mother’s birthday extra special with love and affection. Chahatt has been constantly sharing stories on her IG handle regarding her birthday, but what caught our attention was her daughter’s efforts to make her mommy’s birthday special. From getting her a birthday present to singing a birthday song for her, Zoharr did everything in her power to make her mother’s birthday memorable. Despite all odds, Chahatt Khanna makes efforts to keep her daughters happiest. On March 30, 2020, Chahatt had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a few videos on her Instagram handle with her girls. In her Instagram stories, we could see her dancing her heart out with her little girls, Zoharr and Ammaayra on a kids’ song. Chahatt had looked gorgeous in a black dress and had subtle makeup.
In an interview with The Times of India, when Chahatt Khanna was asked if she has any advice for the mothers to manage their kids in the quarantine, she had retorted, "Please keep them indoors. Give them household tasks to keep them busy, let them study and play from home and build their immune system." Emphasising on the challenges that are put forth as a single mother, Chahatt Khanna had said, "It's very difficult to be in the house and there are two kids who want my attention 24 by 7. So, I can't even step out, I can't even do anything. Of course, being a single parent is more difficult because I don't have anyone to watch my back. So, what I am doing is - giving them the household tasks, specially my elder one. I give her credits and I give her the household tasks to complete. With all of this, I am also taking care of their immunity and giving them vitamin C. So, they don't fall sick." Chahatt had also revealed the preventive measures she has been taking to keep her daughters safe, and had continued, "I give them haldi in their milk everyday, making them sanitise their hands as much as possible before meals after meals, before they step out, after they come back. Ask the staff who come in daily to wear a mask and come, so when they come they sanitise their hands, I am into sanitising the fruits to cutlery and everything.. also have stopped taking them to the garden in the building since few days they are homebound, no other way out!"
