Whenever someone says wedding, the first picture that comes to anybody's mind is of a young girl in a red ensemble and walking under the pholoon ki chadar. However, over years bridal fashion has been transformed to embracing what your heart desires. Nowadays, the brides make sure to look their best in their D-day ensemble while staying comfortable is their top priority.
Over the years, we have seen brides ditching the usual red lehengas to donning unique colours including white, which is a no-no for an Indian bride. Recently, we stumbled upon a bride, who looked like an angel donning a custom Tarun Tahiliani lehenga for her big day.
The bride of the week, Sophiya Faizal had married the love of her life in an intimate wedding. For the wedding day, Sophiya had worn a beautiful rose-gold lehenga from the ace designer, Tarun Tahiliani. It was the unique fish-cut of the lehenga skirt that had made her look dreamy.
The bride's outfit was comprised of a fish-cut lehenga skirt with a peplum-corset style blouse with tassel detailing on the hem. Celebrity saree draper, Dolly Jain had strategically styled her sheer dupatta as a veil on her head. She had ensured that the veil doesn't spoil her hairstyle or compromise her comfort. The bride was looking super pretty as she had walked with her father in a cream-coloured sherwani.
The bride had accentuated her D-day look with a choker neckpiece, matching earrings, and a maang teeka. Her makeup artist, Tanvi had kept her look subtle and made sure that her outfit shined. On the other hand, her groom had donned a golden-coloured sherwani with a matching turban and a doshala.
We loved the bride's gorgeous look and the fish-cut lehenga!
A shaadi brings a splash of colour, fun and happiness in everyone's life related to that wedding.
