You know it is once in a lifetime kinda love when your reality is finally better than your dreams. Well, that kind of love is eternal and once it touches your soul, nothing else seems to make sense. A kind of similar love entered Bollywood director, Boney Kapoor’s life and it had a legendary name- Sridevi. However, the sudden demise of Sridevi last year, not only left the entire nation in shock but a huge void in Boney’s life that no one can ever heal. Earlier, in an interview with the PTI, he had talked about life after Sridevi and had said, “I feel the loss of her every second of my life, not just me even my children do. This is something that we have to live with. Unfortunately, she was snatched away from us sooner than anybody expected.”
While we understand no amount of words can ever fill the void that Sridevi has left in Boney’s heart, it seems like time is also incapable of helping him to move on with life. Recently, Boney Kapoor made an appearance on Komal Natha’s show and broke down remembering his one true love. In a throwback interview, Boney had shared, “My love story with her is an open book. Whatever matters of the heart that can be shared are all in the public domain. What is most close (about her) will remain in the heart. That’s my support system for life”
In another interview with SpotboyE, Boney had talked in length about his four children and had shared, “As I said, I am blessed to have these four. They love each other a lot and I am glad that they have come together. It was due to happen anytime, it just happened when something unfortunate happened. They are all my blood and they had to come around. I give credit to all four, but yes, more to Arjun because he is the eldest. He flew into Dubai to be with me. Anshula was in Mumbai with Janhvi and Khushi. They have happened through two different mothers but why should they get affected? Reminiscing about his life in an interview, Boney had once revealed, “She's an introvert and doesn't communicate very easily with strangers and I was one at that point in time. But the few words she spoke, in broken Hindi and English, they touched me they moved me and I was curious to know her more. Gradually, she saw the man is too persistent and perhaps realized I was sincere and not looking for, what do I say, a fling. Well, Boney and Sridevi's love story is an inspiration and we still hate how destiny played its game and took away Sridevi a little too soon!
