Soon their dating speculations turned to their marriage conjectures, and the fans have been eagerly waiting for the IT couple of B-town to embark their journey of forever as husband and wife. Arjun and Malaika secretly went to celebrate her birthday in Milan, last year and the photos of them holding hands at Milan airport had surfaced online which somewhat confirmed the dating rumours. Seems like Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s marriage reports are not just the hottest new rumour in tinsel town, but they are actually walking down the aisle and the date is set. A source close to the couple confirmed that Arjun and Malaika will make it official through an intimate church wedding on April 19, 2019. The report could be read as, “Our well-placed source spills the beans that Malla will walk down the aisle on April 19. The invitees list will, of course, have to-be-bride and groom’s close friend circle like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and their Bandra girl gang, with whom the couple usually hangs out. We also hear that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are also on the guest list.”
Despite Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor dismissing the rumours of their wedding, the speculations just don’t seem to fade away. And as it is rightly said, there’s no smoke without fire, fans are eagerly waiting to see Malaika and Arjun as bride and groom. Arjun’s father, Boney Kapoor has finally opened up about the wedding conjectures surrounding his son. In an interview with Amar Ujala, Boney Kapoor said, "There's no truth to these rumours."
As per the reports, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have asked their team to keep themselves free for the wedding. Do you remember the same reports surfaced on the internet before Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding too? Though DeepVeer too refuted the reports then, later we saw the beautiful union of two most good-looking souls. As per a DNA report, “Arjun and Malaika have told their teams to keep themselves free for the wedding. They want it to be an extremely private affair with only close friends and family, so the hair and make-up artists and other members have been strictly asked not to share any information with anybody.” All we can say is, wait for April 19, 2019, guys!
In an interview with Anupama Chopra on Film Companion, Malaika finally cleared the air regarding the same. Reacting on her church wedding with Arjun, Malaika said, "Oh God! No No. It's all media made. Media is responsible for it.” Speaking about giving love a second chance, Malaika Arora further added, "I guess everyone wants to move on and find love and companionship with people they can relate to. And if you do, I think you are just lucky. After Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor too had clarified the rumours of their impending marriage and shared in an interview with IANS, “When there is something to talk about, you will all know.” He further added, “It’s your choice how much you put out there or yourself and your availability. Today you have a lot of control over as to how much you want people to know about your life. Speculation and gossip is a part of it. I am not the first actor or the last. Our entire tribe is immune to it…Because it is the nature of the business."
In 2018, a report suggested that Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are no longer keen to hide their relationship from the media and don’t want to keep themselves away from being clicked together. A source had stated, “Malaika is no longer keen to hide her proximity to Arjun. When she was with Arbaaz, the Khan family, especially Salman, made their disapproval very clear. But now that she has broken away from Arbaaz, she sees no reason to be coy about her closeness to Arjun.
