Bollywood actress, Bipasha Basu is all set to welcome her first child with her husband, Karan Singh Grover. The duo has been eagerly waiting to get pregnant and embrace their parenthood journey. And finally, the day is all set to arrive. Every year, the Bengali beauty celebrates Durga Puja with a lot of zeal, but this time she won't be able to go for pandal hopping. However, this didn't stop the mommy-to-be, Bipasha, from praising Maa Durga and her divine powers.
For those who don't know, Bipasha and Karan had given us wedding goals by tying the knot in a fairytale arrangement in 2016. Their hashtag 'monkey love' has been etched in our hearts, and they proved that their love is as pure as the animal totem. After five years of marital bliss, in 2022, the couple announced their pregnancy.

Recently, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Bipasha talked about how Maa Durga blessed her. The mom-to-be also revealed that last year she had sought blessings at Vaishno Devi for the first time with her husband, Karan. She had prayed from the divine goddess to bless her with a baby. Bipasha also shared that when they took their first ultrasound, their due date matched the date they visited Vaishno Devi. She said:
"This year has been blessed by Maa Durga, our baby is going to arrive soon and have her blessings. There’s a tiny little story that I have not shared with anybody. We had a beautiful darshan of Maa Vaishno Devi last year on November 23, me and Karan had never visited before. We asked for this blessing, we definitely wanted to have a baby. Next year, when we got pregnant, our first ultrasound due date matched the exact date of when we had gone there! Both of us have faith, Maa Durga is a part of our lives."
Bipasha and Karan hosted a beautiful baby shower with their close family and friends in attendance. The doting mommy-to-be looked pretty in a pink cape-style gown and flaunted her baby bump. On the other hand, the daddy-to-be donned a blue-coloured tuxedo with a floral pocket square. Another highlight of Bipasha's baby shower was the unique peache and lavender theme.
Earlier, in an interview with the Mid-Day, Bipasha Basu had talked about embracing pregnancy in her forties. However, she didn't immediately announce it as they wanted to reach a safer timeline. Talking about her initial phase of pregnancy, Bipasha shared that it wasn't just morning sickness; instead, she was vomiting all day. She had said:
"No one talks about how horrible it can be. It is not morning sickness, it's all-time sickness. I was vomiting all day; It was as if I was possessed. I used to look up at God and shout. why are you doing this?"
Bipasha also revealed how Karan has been helping her during her pregnancy journey. She shared that her hubby, Karan, was always looking after her, and her mother was relaxed and kept praising him. Bipasha had said:
"Karan was looking after me all the time. My mom was relaxed. Kitna acchha pati mila hai."
