From seeing Rubina saying the 'F' word to Abhinav to see them arguing on their respective decisions, it was all chaos for the couple in terms of their relationship since a very long time. However, the bonding between the two is getting better and better with each episode of the show. Now, Rubina Dilaik's sister, Jyotika Dilaik revealed their parents and family members' reaction after hearing about Rubina and Abhinav contemplating divorce in one of the episodes. In an interview with ETimes, Bigg Boss 14's contestant, Rubina Dilaik's sister, Jyotika Dilaik talked about the episode, in which Rubina and her husband, Abhinav Shukla could be seen contemplating divorce. The doting sister revealed their parents and the whole family was in immense shock seeing Rubina and Abhinav thinking about divorce. Jyotika said, "When the promo of their relationship of not being on good terms came out, I started getting messages from people asking if Rubina and Abhinav were getting divorced. I initially did not understand why I was getting such messages but when I saw the promo myself I was shocked. When we saw the episode, there was complete silence in the house, our mom was crying, and I was also crying." Going further in her interview, Jyotika Dilaik revealed how shocking it was for her family to watch that painful series of episodes on the show, where the two could be seen fighting and having some fiery war of words with each other. However, Rubina's mother clarified that both of them are now working on their relationship. She said, "We all were looking at each other, but we did not utter a word. But later, mom told us that Rubina and Abhinav were having issues and asked us to see the better side that they are now together. She told us now they have mended their ways and are going strong. Eventually, we understood the matter." Jyotika also revealed that her mother had also spoken to her jiju, Abhinav's parents and informed them about their growing calmness. She added, "Then mom spoke to Apu Jiju's (Abhinav) parents and told them everything. And now when we see them together happily we feel good."
At the end of her interview, Jyotika Dilaik also revealed that her parents had gotten emotional, when her jiju, Abhinav Shukla had started crying on the show, after getting frustrated with co-contestant, Rakhi Sawant's irritating antics. She said, "We felt very bad when we saw Abhinav jiju crying because of Rakhi. We were able to understand the problem that he was going through. We understood that he was feeling terrible that even after being right nobody is supporting them, and we are proved to be wrong. It was very suffocating for them. We all got very emotional." Concluding her statement, Jyotika stated that because her behen and jiju are right, they're getting more love from the audience, whenever they're bashed unnecessarily. She concluded, "I feel the more they are bashed, the more they are getting love from the audience. They are connecting more with the audience as they understand Rubina and Abhinav's point of view and I think that is the best thing."
