In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 14, Pavitra Punia got a little bit emotional while talking to her housemate, Kavita Kaushik as she talked about her broken engagement with ex-fiance, Sumit Maheshwari. The actress revealed that she still misses her ex-fiance every single day and still have strong feelings for him. She said, "I got engaged in 2015, and the relationship lasted for three years. We broke up in 2018. At that time only he said, 'Main kisi se shaadi nahi karunga. Agar koi life me aa sakta hai, that's only you. Even before.' I miss my ex-fiancé every single day." She said, "Toh phir kya ye sab distraction, jab asli cheez bahar hai toh uspe focus karo na. Socho uske dil pe kya beet rahi hogi. Galat hai ye." After hearing Kavita's advice, Pavitra immediately stated that both she and Sumit are no longer together and marriage isn't on her mind at the moment. She concluded, "But we're not together na, mujhe sagaai shaadi nahi karni hai, I've been very clear with him from day one."

I had met him in Amby Valley through a common friend, where I had gone for Reiki. I absolutely loved the place and fell in love with him there." And Sumit had also revealed that it was love at first sight for him. He had remarked, "It was love at first sight. I saw Pavitra and fell in love with her. I love everything about her... she is a pure soul, and I just love her nature."
