She has found the love of her life in a restaurateur, Shekhar Malhotra. The much-in-love duo has been hitting the headlines with their wedding news for quite some time now. And today, on March 8, 2022, finally, the wedding bells had ranged, and they had tied the marital knot with each other.
Bhumika Gurung is probably the most joyful bride of this wedding season. On March 6, 2022, Bhumika's wedding festivities had begun with shagun ki haldi, and pictures and videos from the same have already started to create a buzz on social media. The bride-to-be, Bhumika, had looked gorgeous on her haldi ceremony. She had donned a yellow-coloured ruffle sharara and had paired it with a noodle-strapped flared kurta. She had paired her look with patterned floral earrings and a maang teeka and had kept her makeup neutral.

On March 8, 2022, Bhumika Gurung and her darling boyfriend-turned-husband, Shekhar Malhotra, tied the forever knot with each other in an Anand Karaj ceremony. The wedding took place at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara in Andheri West, Mumbai, amidst close friends and family. Just before the Anand Karaj ceremony, Bhumika Gurung was asked about her feelings of finally getting married in an interview with the ETimes. The actress explained that this is what she always wanted to do, and though she is feeling exhausted and tired, it's a different feeling for her. She said:
"I am super exhausted and tired, but I love feeling that I will soon be married to someone who I want to spend the rest of my life with. It's a different feeling altogether. We were both waiting for this day to come! A month ago, we decided that in March we should get married and here we are today. Like every girl, I also dreamt a lot about how my wedding should be and my wedding is all I wanted it to be."
In the same interview, Bhumika was asked about selecting her wedding ensemble. The then bride-to-be mentioned that she felt a special connection with this lehenga when she had entered the store, and that was the reason for selecting this piece. She said:
"I had a lot of ideas about my outfit. But when I went to this designer's store, I saw this lehenga and I felt that this was waiting for me. It just fell into place."

The actress looked gorgeous in a olive-green coloured lehenga heavily embellished with stonework, paired with a matching dupatta and a choli. She accentuated her minimal makeup look with stone studded jewellery, including a choker, a long neckpiece, bangles, matching earrings and a nath. And her groom, Shekhar, was dressed in a heavily embellished bandhgala suit paired with a green turban and a doshala.
On March 6, 2022, pictures from Bhumika Gurung's mehendi ceremony were also highly circulated in the media. For the ceremony, Bhumika had donned a green-coloured lehenga paired with a strapped blouse and a dupatta. She had accentuated her look with a statement oversized maang teeka and had looked gorgeous. The bride-to-be had tied her hair in a side braid and had adorned it with beads.
