Comedy King Kapil Sharma is back with a bang! Today, he is making us all laugh out loud again every weekend with his show, The Kapil Sharma Show. Not just he is back on track with his professional life, but his personal life seems to be sorted too. Kapil walked down the aisle with his long-time girlfriend, Ginni Chatrath, on December 12, 2018. In an interview with the Hindustan Times before his wedding, Kapil had jovially stated, “Maine shaadi rokne ki bahut koshish ki, par kuch nahin hua (laughs). Jokes apart, I am ecstatic to be with Ginni and I know this marriage will be a huge change in my life. Discipline aayega. She takes good care of me and is a huge support in my life. People like me are surrounded by many people at work or events or otherwise, but when you come home, ghar khali lagta hai”.
On the similar lines, now Bharti has opened up and told Pinkvilla that Kapil is a changed man now, courtesy the discipline that has come into his life. The Titli Bhabhi fame told the leading tabloid, “He comes on the sets cut to cut and is always on time. We always finish the shoot on time and I always think that Ginni is very lucky and she is very sweet. Not just this, Bharti also opened up about the change that Ginni has brought in Kapil’s lifestyle. The Khatron Ke Khiladi season 9 contestant stated, “Ginni is taking great care of Kapil, right from yoga to sending him to the gym to boiled vegetables and everything else. Kapil bhai has also become very calm and patient.”
Sharing his love story, the Firangi actor had once quipped, “We did not have the usual dating scenario as both our families are conservative. Last year, when I was going through a low phase, she was there with me throughout. That’s when I felt that if she is with me during my low phase, then she is the one for me. I can rely on her”. For the ones who don’t know, Kapil had announced his wedding to Ginni in March 2017, but it got delayed due to his professional commitments. On this note, he had once quipped, “Back then, we had decided that we would get married but due to my hectic schedule, we couldn’t lock a date. My mum stays in Amritsar and worries about me. Now that I am getting married, I think it was destined. I feel marriage is an essential part in our lives as it brings stability.”
He further went on to add, “Then the next phase is parenthood, which is another important step in a person’s life. I have seen people change after marriage, as they want to go home to be with their wives or kids. I want to experience it all as well. Being a bachelor, having your fun is good but only for a while. Later, it becomes routine and then you look for stability.
