TV reality shows Roadies, Bigg Boss and Splitsvilla are known to get controversial as the shows progress in every season. However, some of the participants eventually become controversy’s child, and three of such TV celebs are Priyank Sharma, Divya Agarwal and Benafsha Soonawalla. First things first- Priyank and Divya met on Splitsvilla 10 and soon were head-over-heels in love for each other. However, when he entered in Bigg Boss 11, his growing intimacy with Benafsha Soonawalla led to his and Divya’s split. And now, it appears that Priyank and Benafsha are dating.
Now, Priyank and Divya’s break up has become the talk of the town these days. The mudslinging started on Vikas Gupta’s show, Ace of Space where Divya and her alleged boyfriend, Varun Sood discussed Priyank and Benafsha. It must be mentioned be here that Varun was earlier dating Benafsha which was completely dismissed by the latter. Soon, things spiralled up and Priyank released an open-letter on social media dissing Divya.
Replying to him, Divya’s social media team released shocking text messages exchanged between her and Benafsha wherein the two are dissing Priyank. Now, Benafsha has also decided to clear the air from her side and in doing so, she can't stop praising her boyfriend. She took to her official Instagram handle, and wrote, “Good lord. Alright, people. I hear you. Here we go. Priyank Sharma, childish, sometimes rude to the people he loves, drama king. Priyank Sharma, also the most loving, emotional, sentimental and forgiving person to have ever stepped on earth.”
Her post could further be read as, “Priyank Sharma, the one who has broken quite a few phones when he’s angry, and Priyank Sharma, the same guy that’ll pick someone’s call who is in need with the same broken phone. Priyank Sharma, I assure you he will sleep off while watching a movie with you, but he’ll try to keep his eyes open just so you’re happy. The one who will just not start eating until the person next to him has had the first bite.”
It’s further worded as, “The one who’ll kill me for this post coz he thinks he’s the only one that can praise people, the one who will run on one leg to be there for his parents, his friends, the one who will fly from one country or city to another on one call. Priyank Sharma, the one I cried to right now because he knows we had a fight and HUGE misunderstanding, and he also knows I trust people easily. Because he does the same. All he said, “Sleep cheeks you were shooting all night. Words hurt, everybody’s words hurt. Tell me a time you guys haven’t hurt somebody with your words out of sheer anger and don’t even try to lie.”
Benafsha’s rather long reply went on, “You could break a thousand phones, have a dozen fights, and we could say a million hurtful things to each other, and also sometimes have HUGE HUGE ‘MISUNDERSTANDINGS’ and bitch and gossip about each other to people who are or who we considered our friends but you are stuck with me forever. I’m aware a lot of people have a good laugh over our bond because it’s often misunderstood. And lastly, she added, “Lastly, Priyank, you’re sometimes misunderstood, cause you talk too much, emote and express too much. But you know, you be you. Because the ones who know you will never let go. you’re crazy, childish at times, emotional mess, angry monster, but you’re also SO loving, respectful, forgiving, kind and someone who melts with a little hug. Priyank Sharma, Ben’s favourite boy, and she wouldn’t have him any other way. #mywholeteam.”
Wow! That’s so sweet of her to write such long and heartfelt words for her boyfriend, Priyank. Benafsha also talked to BollywoodLife after Divya posted the WhatsApp conversation between the two. Reacting to it, Ben said, “See, it is evident from the convo that I had a huge fight with Priyank. This happened after the release of Bob Marley and by that time, she and I were good friends. It was a very normal conversation, much like gossip girls bitching session. It was like a friend talking to another friend about a friend who has upset him/her. Priyank had said something that upset me greatly but I later realised that it was a misunderstanding on my part and that I wrongly interpreted what he said.”
Benafsha also said that the howl conversation was just between a friend concerned about another friend, “I talked about it at that time as I was upset. I have friends outside the industry with whom I share stuff like this. Now, because Priyank and her's fall-out is in the news, it looks like a controversy when there is none. If you ask any common man, he will say that he has spoken about a friend in anger at one point or the other. Later, I also told her that we had patched up and she was like, "Oh that's nice."
