Bappi Lahiri was counted as one of the most renowned singers of his generation. His glorious impact on the world of music will be treasured forever in the memories of his loved ones. After him, his legacy of exceptional music-making has been taken up by his son, Bappa Lahiri. The star kid has followed in his father’s footsteps and is already a well-acclaimed musician. Now, Bappa and his wife, Taneesha were blessed with their second son, and the entire Lahiri family is enjoying the moment to its fullest.
In May 2023, Bappi Lahiri's son, Bappa Lahiri's wife, Taneesha gave birth to their second child, a son in Los Angeles. They have named the baby boy Shivaay. As per a report in the ETimes, the doting father was doing a lot of shopping for the same and as the newest family member has already arrived, they are overjoyed with the news. According to a source close to the family, the Lahiris believe that Bappi Lahiri has taken rebirth. The source can be quoted as saying:
"Both baby and mother are doing fine. The family believes Bappi Lahiri is back."

Earlier, on December 27, 2022, Bappa had wished his fans a belated ‘Merry Christmas’. Taking to his IG handle, he dropped a cute picture of himself with his wife, Taneesha and his son, Krishh to announce her pregnancy. Bappa and Taneesha's son, Krishh was holding a picture of an ultrasound image of his mommy, showing a tiny baby. Along with it, Bappa penned a caption and made it clear that the couple was expecting their second child soon. His caption could be read as:
“Merry Christmas from (Almost)4 of us.”
Bappi Lahiri's son, Bappa and his ladylove, Taneesha knew each other for quite some time. They dated each other for a couple of years before tying the knot on March 18, 2012. Afterwards, the lovely couple embraced parenthood for the first time with the arrival of their son, Krishh in 2017. Since then, Bappa and his wife, Taneesha never miss a chance to paint the town red with their mushy glimpses.

It was on February 15, 2022, when the ‘Disco King’ of Bollywood's 70s and 80s, Bappi Lahiri left for the heavenly abode leaving a huge void in the music industry and the hearts of his millions of fans. He had multiple health issues. But Bappi passed away at the age of 69 years due to prolonged illness regarding OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea), in a Mumbai hospital.
