A week after her wedding, Babita had treated her fans with some unseen pictures with Vivek from their varmala ceremony and a family picture for which the newly-weds had posed with her parents, Mahavir Singh Phogat and Daya Kaur. The first year of marriage has been a special one for Babita Phogat and Vivek Suhag as they conceived their first child and soon will welcome a little one in their lives. Revealing that she is expecting her first child with hubby, Vivek, Babita had posted a picture from her birthday celebrations, in which she flaunted her baby bump. A few days ago, the Phogat family had hosted a baby shower ceremony for the to-be mommy, Babita Phogat and it was full of cherishable moments. Babita couldn’t control her happiness as she had received a pleasant surprise from her loving family and posed with everyone as she made beautiful pregnancy memories before embracing motherhood. For the baby shower, Babita glowed in a floral grey suit with matching choker and floral tiara with a mom-to-be sash. Captioning the baby shower pictures, Babita had written, “Unexpected surprises from family and friends love u for what all u have done for me and Vivek. We both cherished every single moment of it. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Babita Phogat, who is basking in the happiness of pregnancy, revealed how she hasn’t rested since the day she got to know about her pregnancy. Babita said, “I haven’t rested from the day I got to know I’m pregnant. Main apne aap ko mentally tayyar rakhti hun kisi bhi cheez ke liye... We enjoyed Sangeeta’s wedding thoroughly. There were only family members considering the safety (precautions needed) during corona.” Revealing is she is finding it tough to being pregnant in COVID time, Babita remarked, “Main manage kar leti har situation ko. Apne liye bhi time nikalna ho... I keep myself prepared. Mujhe acha lagta hai kaam karna.”
Speaking of the guidance and tips she has been receiving from her elder sister, Geeta Phogat, Babita said, “She keeps giving me tips, whether it’s about shopping or otherwise. Badi behen hain woh aur is daur se guzar chuki hain. She asks me to be happy and stress-free. As and when I get time, when I go for shopping, toh mai Geeta se pooch leti hoon. Woh experience ho chuki hain ab. And she always guide me saying ‘Kaam apna karte rehna hai’. Toh kaam main pura karti hoon, including political work and household work. Main pregnancy se pehle jaise apna kaam karti thi, waise hi abhi bhi karti ja rahi hoon.
