Ayushmann Khurrana is going through the most difficult time of his life after his father, P. Khurana's demise. On May 19, 2023, P. Khurana had taken his last breath after fighting against a prolonged disease. Just a few moments ago, Ayushmann Khurrana shared photos from his father's prayer meet and penned a heartwrenching note and talked about the pain he is going through. Ayushmann, who is known for his deep knowledge of words, added how all the responsibilities of being like his father have landed on his young shoulders.
On May 25, 2023, Ayushmann took to his Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from his late father, P. Khurana's prayer meet. In the first picture, Ayushmann Khurrana and his brother, Aparshakti Khurana were seen helping their mother as she looked inconsolable. The next photo was of their late father, P. In one of the pictures, Ayushmann shared the token of love which they distributed to people, who attended the prayer meet. It was P. Khurana's favourite sweets, and on the label, it read, "This is my favourite sweet. Hope you like it too."
Alongside it, Ayushmann penned a heartwrenching note. The young actor talked about how he has to take care of his mother and be together as a family. Ayushmann added how difficult it is to be like your own father and the price you pay for it. He wrote:
"Maa ka khayal rakhna hai aur humesha saath rehna hai. Pita jaisa banne ke liye bahut duur jaana padta hai apne pita se. Pehli baar aisa mehsoos ho raha hai ki papa bahut duur aur bahut qareeb hain humare. Thank you for your upbringing, love, sense of humour and the most beautiful memories."
Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the young actors who made it big in Bollywood without any godfather. He started from television and went on to become a huge name with his back-to-back successful films. Once in a media interaction, he shared that he rose to fame because of his father, as he pushed him and asked him to leave the comfort of his home if he wants to live his passion.
We hope the Khurrana family gets the strength to fight this difficult time!
