The young girl whose trembling fingers played with the first snow of the season and her debut performance bagged her millions of hearts. This girl played the role of young Rani Mukerji in the movie Black.

Being the pivotal part of the film, other than the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and outstanding actress Rani Mukerji, Ayesha Kapur made a mark with her iconic performance in the film. She played the character of a deafblind girl in the film, post which she took a break from Bollywood to focus on her education.
She was just 9-year-old when she made her debut in Bollywood, and now she is 23-year-old Liberal Arts student at Columbia University, New York. She is also an entrepreneur of Ayesha accessories and a literature fiend. About her entrepreneurship, Ayesha once in an interview said:
“My mother and I started an accessory brand together. I am definitely still interested in it and I am involved in trend research, design, and PR. It has been a great journey so far working together with my mom, and look out for some very cool and fun stuff coming out in our stores soon.”
She also talked about her first encounter with Amitabh Bachchan for the film and said:
“The first time I saw him, I asked Mr Bachchan if this was his first film too. Apparently, the whole set burst out laughing. He was very kind about it and gave me a signed copy of his biography the next day. I hadn’t grown up watching Bollywood films and I was nine years old, after all (while shooting the film), so I was quite oblivious.”

Sharing her acting experience, she remarked:
“I loved the entire experience—I think the most challenging part was actually leaving. I fell so deeply in love with acting that it was difficult to just get back to my daily routine. It was an unbelievable experience and I am so grateful for it. I think the most challenging part of the acting experience was to get the eye movement (the rolling of the eyes) right. It took a lot of training.”

Not many of us know that Ayesha is committed and dating a guy named Adam Oberoi. Before Adam, Ayesha was allegedly dating Shahid Kapoor's half-brother and Dhadak fame actor, Ishaan Khatter.
