Asin Thottumkal, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Aamir Khan in Ghajini got married to the CEO of Micromax, Rahul Sharma on January 19, 2016. Two years later, when they were blissfully celebrating their second wedding anniversary, Asin gave the first glimpse of their daughter and had written on social media, “#ARWedding #2years. It's the three of us now. Stepping into the third year. Couldn't have asked for more!" They later revealed their baby girl's name as Arin which is a portmanteau word of Asin and Rahul.
Asin and Rahul regularly keep posting adorable pictures of their baby girl on social media. Asin's latest pictures on Instagram are adorable beyond words wherein we can see little Arin playing with doelings (babies of goats). In fact, Arin can be seen feeding them with leaves and twigs, and in one of the videos, her mother, Asin asks Arin to call the goats and Arin adorably exclaims, "Aa ja (come)!" Asin Thottumkal celebrates her birthday every year on October 26. Two days before her birthday in 2017, Asin became a mother when Arin was born. On October 24, 2017, Asin and Rahul had released a statement sharing the news of Arin's arrival. It could be read as, "We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic baby girl earlier today. The last 9 months have been most special and exciting for the both of us and we would like to thank all our well-wishers and everyone who has been part of our journey for all their love and support." Asin Thottumkal also announced the arrival of her daughter as the biggest birthday gift she got, on social media. She is the best birthday present I could ever ask for!”
On Arin’s first birthday, on October 24, 2018, Asin had taken to her Instagram handle to share some set of pictures of her little one and captioned one post as, "Happy 1st birthday ARIN! #arinturnsone". She captioned her other post as, “A little girl who loves outdoors, travel and books..turned ONE #Arinturnsone."
Rahul Sharma too had shared two lovely pictures of him with his little princess. Sharing the following couple of pictures, Rahul Sharma had tweeted, “A year ago we welcomed a Gorgeous, bright-eyed, little angel into this world. She just turned ONE!!! Where does time fly? Asin and Rahul are one of the most adorable celebrity couples in India. Asin had once called Rahul her 'best friend' in a media interaction.
