Ashish Vidyarthi is leading the headlines for quite some time since he announced his second marriage on social media. For the unversed, the leading actor was married to singer and former RJ, Rajoshi Vidyarthi and was blessed with a son, Arth. However, after living a blissful married life for 22 years, they parted ways in 2022 amicably. Afterwards, Ashish met Rupali Barua and tied the knot on May 25, 2023, in an intimate ceremony in Kolkata.
In an interview with India Today, Ashish Vidyarthi opened up about the first time he and his ex-wife, Rajoshi shared the news of their separation to their son, Arth. However, Ashish also mentioned how Arth reacted to the entire situation. The Soldier actor revealed that he knew if he hadn't parted ways with his ex-wife, it would have greatly impacted their son, Arth. Thus, to not have a slow drop of poison, Ashish and Rajoshi took this decision. He shared:
"There was a lot of guilt, both Piloo and I did not want to give this kind of a life to him. Arth was there in the picture, even as we were going through the differences. We discovered that staying together would make a mess of it, that would have impacted both Piloo and me, and more importantly, it would have affected Arth. He would very clearly know that parents are messing up. They're really upset with one another, and it would be a slow drop of poison."

Further, in the same conversation, Ashish revealed he felt extremely guilty while taking up the confidence to tell his son about his separation from Rajoshi. However, finally, when he and Rajoshi talked about the same to Arth, who is a 22 years old professional, the doting son shared that he is still processing it. Ashish shared:
"So, the first part is that it was very painful to even arrive and say it's not working out. And then the part of telling Arth and taking him into confidence came in. There's a huge amount of guilt but we were very clear that we take responsibility for what we are doing, and we are talking to an adult child. It was very difficult to communicate with him, but hats off to him. He is still processing it, but I remember he said, 'the way you both are resolving it is better than pestering yourself into something.' Obviously, he is gone through his stuff."
On May 26, 2023, Ashish Vidyarthi took to his Instagram handle and dropped a video message post his second marriage to the entrepreneur, Rupali Barua. In the video, Ashish opened up about his second marriage to Rupali. Talking about the same, the actor revealed that they met a year back and discovered their common likings. Further, mentioning how age doesn't matter in love, he clarified that he is not 60 but 57.

In another interview with the Hindustan Times, Rajoshi revealed her relationship with her ex-husband, Ashish. She mentioned that the decision not to announce her and Ashish's divorce was mutual. She also stated they are still good friends, and the 22 years of marital bliss was the best part of her life. Furthermore, Rajoshi mentioned that Ashish was a great partner, and they shared a pretty good bond as they had similar interests.
