Ashish Vidyarthi is one of the most popular and talented actors in the Indian film industry. He has worked in some blockbuster films like Drohkaal, Sangharsh, Bhadra, Bichhoo, Arjun Pandit, R...Rajkumar and many more. Currently, the actor is hitting all the headlines for his personal life. Ashish tied the knot for the second time with Rupali Barua at the age of 60. For the unversed, the veteran actor was previously married to actress, singer, and former RJ, Rajoshi Vidyarthi. However, they parted ways in 2022 after living a blissful married life for 22 years.
In an interview with The Telegraph-t2, Ashish Vidyarthi opened up about his second marriage with Rupali Barua. Talking about the same, the actor revealed how he met his second wife after his divorce from Rajoshi Vidyarthi. Ashish mentioned that he met Rupali during one of his vlogging assignments and the duo connected instantly. He also stated that during their interaction, he discovered that Rupali had gone through her share of pain in life after she lost her husband five years ago. In his words:
"Post all the completion with Piloo, last year I met Rupali during one of my vlogging assignments and we started chatting and we discovered that she has also gone through her degree of pain. She lost her husband five years back and also not contemplated marriage again."

In the same interview, Ashish expressed his happiness over finding someone in his life who is also looking at life differently, just like him. The actor also mentioned how he discovered that Rupali can also have a fresh start in life and consider remarriage. Elaborating on how being happy is the most important thing in life, Ashish said:
"As we chatted, we discovered that there is a possibility that she can look afresh at life and consider marrying. I am feeling amazing that I am with someone who at a stage in her life was also perhaps on her own and possibly looking at life in a slightly different way.... She is 50 and I am 57, and why not? Each one of us, whatever be our age, strata, we all can be happy."
On May 26, 2023, Ashish had taken to his IG handle and dropped a video wherein he could be seen talking about his second marriage to Rajoshi. In the video, the actor also revealed that he met Rajoshi a year back and discovered that they could walk together as husband and wife. Mentioning how age doesn't matter in love, he clarified that he is not 60 but 57.

For the unversed, it was on May 25, 2023, Ashish got married to Rupali in Kolkata in an intimate ceremony. For the wedding, the then-to-be bride donned a beautiful cream-coloured mekhela chador, a traditional Assamese saree. Her outfit featured a golden border and peacock motifs. Gold jewellery, soft makeup and hair tied in a bun completed Rupali's look. On the other hand, Ashish twinned with her in a matching golden kurta with a dhoti and gamcha.
