Seriously, we all know the showsha around a Punjabi wedding and how particular they are at mehman nawaji, they never forget to ask 'khaana kha ke jaana'. Nothing pains more than a relative and friend leaving our place with an empty stomach. And looks like Bollywood actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan's soon-to-be bhabhi, Anissa Malhotra (fiancee of Armaan Jain) is already following the footsteps of the famous 'Kapoor Khaandaan'. Before, we take you further into the story, let us take a look at Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra's roka ceremony. On December 14, 2019, the Jains had hosted a grand roka ceremony for their son, Armaan Jain and soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Anissa Malhotra. The entire Kapoor clan was present there to give blessings to the soon-to-be-married couple. While Armaan won our hearts with her proper Punjabi entry, we loved Anissa's baby pink lehenga.
Recently, we spotted yet another adorable video from Armaan and Anissa's roka ceremony. In the video, we can see the soon-too-be couple posing for the paparazzi and after that Anissa cutely asked them whether they had dinner? On that note, we remember Kareena Kapoor Khan's mother-in-law, Sharmila Tagore has also praised her mehman nawazi and had called it a Kapoor trait. She had shared, "I like your consistency, I like the way you keep in touch. Because I know if I sent you a message you will invariably you will answer, Soha most certainly won't reply. She'll take time, but you will reply. If I'm coming to the house, you will ask me what I like to eat and I get what I want. That must be a Kapoor trait, you keep a wonderful table." For those who don't know, Armaan is the son of Karisma and Kareena's bua, Rima Jain and her husband, Manoj Jain. The rumours of Armaan dating a South Mumbai girl, Anissa Malhotra has been riffed since 2014. However, on July 30, 2019, Armaan had turned the rumours into a piece of news when he had proposed Anissa. He had shared pictures from the same on his Instagram handle, and had written a long post that could be read as "The moment I eagerly waited for 7 years finally arrived, the most nervous moment in my life. The butterflies in my belly all seem a hype when I think of my first school exam or my first shot in front of the camera. You walked in and every sensation went numb. Everything I rehearsed in my mind was out in a jiffy. I finally realised what my yoga teacher said when he meant to go blank and be in the moment."
His post could be further read as "As I walked you, my most beautiful @anissamalhotra down the aisle and finally onto my knees, my heart was pounding, my mouth was dry, everything was hazy and I felt an unexplainable emotion like I did when I first met you, We’ve come along way Jaan, fought all the odds (come rain come storm) like yesterday as well.
