But when parenthood knocks the door of your life, when you have hardly expected it, it is a surprise in true sense. Bollywood’s famous actor, Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend, Gabriella Demetriades surprised everyone in April 2019 with the news of her pregnancy. On July 18, 2019, Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades became proud parents to a baby boy. Famous Bollywood filmmaker, JP Dutta's daughter, Nidhi Dutta made the announcement on Twitter sharing a snap with the excited father. In the caption, she had congratulated the newbie parents and had written, "Congratulations @rampalarjun on the arrival of your bundle of joy! God bless!"
Ever since Gabriella and Arjun welcomed their little munchkin, they have been sharing glimpses on their social media accounts. And on July 25, 2019, the newbie mommy again took to her official Instagram handle and shared another lovely glimpse of the little one. She had shared a story wherein the newborn prince can be seen dressed up in a grey jumpsuit and this glimpse has poked us to see the full picture of the baby soon! Announcing the pregnancy news, Arjun and Gabriella had taken to their respective social media accounts. While Arjun had worded his post as, “Blessed to have you and start all over again. Thank you, baby, for this baby", Gabriella had captioned it as, "Grateful for you two can’t wait to meet you." When Arjun was asked by a media portal as to when they had first met, he was quoted as saying, “Ah, that’s a question to ask. We met through common friends. So, what can I say? That she stalked me? Wishful thinking that, buddy! It’s only been a year since we started dating and here, we are. For keeps. And I must add that it was of prime importance that my daughters should accept her as part of the family. I’m blessed that they have, no questions asked.”
For the ones who are not aware, Arjun ex-wife, Mehr Jessia and their daughters, Mahikaa and Myra had supportively accepted Gabriell’s pregnancy. A report had earlier suggested, “The couple did their best to keep the pregnancy under wraps for the last six months. It turns out that several of their friends were kept in the dark too, including Mehr Jesia, Rampal’s wife of 20 years and mum to their two daughters, Mahikaa, 17, and Myra, 13. Mehr has in fact taken the news rather sportingly. Mehr and Arjun had announced their separation with a joint statement, which could be read as, “After a 20-year-long beautiful journey filled with love and beautiful memories, we would like to share, that all journeys have different paths. We feel that it is time for us to move on to different destinations henceforth. We have always been solid when it has come to us, we will continue to be solid for each other and our loved ones, as we embark upon a new journey.”
The statement could further be read as, “Both of us being extremely private people feel strange to be making this statement, but such are the circumstances of our lives. Where the truth can get distorted and lost. We are a family, our love for each other is forever intact and we shall always be there for one another and most importantly, for our children Mahikaa and Myra. We would, therefore, appreciate our privacy through this time. Thank all for their support. Relationships can end, but love lives on.
