Arjun Rampal is riding high in his personal life these days, as he welcomed his third child, Arik Rampal on July 18, 2019. His two daughters from his earlier marriage, Mahikaa and Myra have stood by their daddy like a rock, which suggested that Mehr too, is completely fine with whatever is brewing in her ex-hubby’s life. Every year, Mehr celebrates Ganpati festival at her home. This time too, she shared a sneak peek from the puja, looking lovely in traditional wears. Although the pictures of these three different celebs were against different backgrounds, a latest SpotboyE report provided some inside details of this group of exes and currents from their Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. As per the report, Arjun visited Mehr’s house for Ganpati puja, with two new guests- his current ladylove, Gabriella Demetriades and newborn son, Arik Rampal. In fact, a source close to the star family has shared with the portal that post offering her prayers to Bappa, Gabriella made an exit with her son, but Arjun had stayed back for lunch at ex-wife, Mehr’s home and also spent some quality time with his daughters.
The source has also shared with the portal, “Things are easing out a bit between Mehr and Gabriella. And a lot of credit for this goes to Arjun and Mehr's daughter, Mahika Rampal." As reported, Arjun, Gabriella and Mehr didn’t initially share a very good rapport. On April 2019, Mehr had also avoided the launch of her ex-hubby’s sister, Komal Rampal’s beauty clinic, though Arjun, Gabriella and Mahikaa were spotted for the same. It was in April 2019 when Arjun Rampal had shared the picture with his then heavily pregnant girlfriend, Gabriella Demetriades, which had served as an official introduction of his girlfriend and also, the news of her pregnancy. As soon as the post burnt the internet, tonnes of congratulatory messages from fans and his friends from the industry had started to pour in. This had made us wonder if his estranged wife, Mehr Jesia and their two beautiful teenage daughters, Mahikaa and Myra knew about the same then. As per a Mumbai Mirror report, Mehr had taken the news of her ex-hubby, Arjun embracing fatherhood again in a positive stride. The report had stated, “The couple did their best to keep the pregnancy under wraps for the last six months. It turns out that several of their friends were kept in the dark too, including Mehr Jesia, Rampal’s wife of 20 years and mum to their two daughters, Mahikaa, 17, and Myra, 13.”
The report had further added, “Mehr has in fact taken the news rather sportingly. Her friends say that even though they haven’t filed for divorce yet, Mehr has come to terms with the fact that Rampal has moved on personally.” A friend close to Mehr had shared with the same tabloid, “They are still working out the financial terms of the separation. Mehr is a wonderful mother and wants to do what works best for her children.”
For the uninitiated, Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jesia had gotten separated in 2018 but haven’t applied for divorce as of yet. The official statement announcing their divorce could be read as “After a 20-year-long beautiful journey filled with love and beautiful memories, we would like to share, that all journeys have different paths. We feel that it is time for us to move on to different destinations henceforth. The report of Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jesia’s separation had further stated, “Both of us being extremely private people feel strange to be making this statement, but such are the circumstances of our lives. Where the truth can get distorted and lost. We are a family, our love for each other is forever intact and we shall always be there for one another and most importantly, for our children Mahikaa and Myra. We would, therefore, appreciate our privacy through this time. Thank all for their support. Relationships can end, but love lives on. We won’t be commenting on this any further.”
